    Nice Set but does not work with the Harmony Hub

    I am sure it will be fixed eventully but this set did not work with the Harmony Hub which was a deal breaker for me. other than that the TV is Nice if you are in the amazon Echo System.

    Motherboard Breaks Within a Year or Two

    TV looks great and seems functional, but within a year begins acting up. Sometimes it doesn't recognize the HDMI coming from the cable box (but it's fine with other HDMIs and inputs). Requires you to restart the device and then it suddenly sees it. More recently, within 1 1/2 years, it began to get discoloration, with a large blotchy area looking darker than the rest. Reported this to the (useless) Geek Squad, and while waiting on a repair the entire TV just broke. Won't turn on at all, just a brief flash of what might be a computer screen and then off again. Researched it and this series has known motherboard issues (which was what the Geek Squad were coming to repair). We'll be going Sony or LG in the future - Insignia is horrible.

    Purchased this TV for a guest room; we never really used much until recently when we had a guest stay and it was then when we realized it has an issue with the sound and motherboard!! Seems this is a common issues according to reviews and youtube. Trying to get insignia to honor warranty - so far called multiple times and the inordinate wait times haven't allowed me to get help so far ..... but I will say - last time I ever buy insignia! Defective out of the BOX!

    This is the 2nd replacement in less than 4 years ... the replacement tv was not the same or comparable ... the replacement is an Insignia firetv and I had a TCL/ROKU ... I had to by a Roku stick and another extended warranty for a total of $170. .... Lost 3 years on the TCL ($40) ... All-in-all overall quality of Best Buy products is terrible ...

    The tv was okay considering the price I paid for it but I haven't had the tv for more than 3 months and it has already created this horizontal line in the tv.

    Nice photo, we had it for about 2 weeks, photo was not as clear when trying to watch fast moving movies or hockey games. i returned it and get the LG.

    Very good at first, but it has a line that rise through the picture every now and then, the geek squad was not very helpful for a tv less than a month old

    Tv is great size but picture quality is not that great. It has like black splotches that appear. I would definitely return it if I could.

    Not as good of a picture as I was hoping for. I realize that this is not a high end TV, but with today’s technology, I was expecting a better picture. My 11 year old 720p LG looks way better. Another reason I gave it a lower score, was because it does not sync up with the Insignia sound bar very well. I have to use the insignia remote to turn the sound bar On/Off. I would think that since the TV and sound bar are the same brand, they would sync better.

    I purchased this TV as a gift. The TV didn’t even last two months before It started getting lines coming up on the TV. Before I purchased it I did read reviews how the TV didn’t last and I wish I would have listen to those reviews. Although the picture is beautiful and it seem like a great TV at first it’s definitely not worth it if the TV is going to go out so soon.

    Picture is fine, so is the sound, but the live TV keeps switching to the main menu for no reason. No troubleshooting exists for this problem....could be a nice TV without that.

    The TV has a horizontal line going down it almost every 20min....I'll be calling best buy tomorrow Monday January 4th to find out what is wrong.

    Good tv, the remote always flashes low battery even after putting in fresh batteries. After the third time, I just ignore the alerts

    Joyful Evening! I am a Disabled Veteran who has to acquire 95% of my merchandise and food items through online purchases. I purchased this Insignia TV not knowing that it is not compatible with my cable and internet connection. So, on today, July 24, 2021, I tried to exchange it for a Samsun TV and pay whatever additional charges, but I was told by a Best Buy representative that I was 9 days past the return date. You see, I purchased the TV on June 30, 2021 and the representative informed me that I had 15 days to make the exchange. I reminds you that the TV is brand new, just had the Geek Squad to come out to my home and install the TV on July 7th. In addition, within the last year and half, I have purchased 7 TVs from Best Buy raging from 50" to 70" (along with other merchandise). I am very disappointed! I will donate this 55" TV to one of my Adopted Mothers, and I will go online with Walmart, or with Amazon and purchase the Samsun TV that I need. I truly hate to take my support elsewhere, but for someone who can not be there for me when I need them, I can not support their business! Take Care, Stay Safe and God Bless! V/r, Ms. Bowens

    Only lasted two years!

    The TV was great while it lasted. We’ve had it for a little over two years, and suddenly the picture no longer works. When the power button is pressed, the screen flashes and then disappears, but we still have sound. No overheating, nothing out of the ordinary, just lost picture. We shouldn’t have picture issues two years in.
