I'd give it a zero star if I could. It stopped working in just under two years. Garbage. Don't waste your money.

Only worked for 2 months, NOW it's the slowest TV ever. Takes forever to load a streaming channel and doesn't respond half the time. No it's not my internet or remote.. it's this lousy TV. DO NOT BUY!!!

Had just over a year and it turned itself off and would not turn on. Thankfully we purchased extended warranty unfortunately when time to replace they only credited us for half value. We switched to Sony.

PASS on buying the Insignia brand

If you want a cheap TV for a couple years, Insignia is for you! My 55" Insignia lasted 2 years & 5 months before the backlighting went out. Would cost between $175 & $225 to repair the TV if I could find someone willing to fix it. The Insignia TV cost me $300 so not worth repairing & off to the recycling center for this TV. My advice, spend a couple hundred dollars more & buy a decent brand TV & stay away from the cheapest off brands. You end up spending more money in a couple years.

Ive only had this tv two years and the light on the inside has gone out. I've been told it can't be repaired. I have another LG I've had for 10 years and it works fine.

Tv lasted exactly 23 months then it became a black screen, no picture. Mother in law loved it for the time she had it so we purchased same tv a few months later for daughter and now hers wouldn’t power on today. Same exact issue, powers on red light but black screen no picture. Unsure what’s more insulting, only getting 2 years out of minimal use or having to pay $30.00 to recycle it at Best Buy to replace with another one. 3rd time won’t be a charm-no more insignia products.

It works, but there is a constant moving horizontal lines running down the picture that distorts faces etc. Trying to work with geek squad. A new TV and now I need to schedule repair! Is a new one under warranty?! Hassle!

The TV has sound issues and from researching solutions, it seems like several customers have had sound issues as well. At this point, I wish would I have paid the extra money for the Samsung.

I bought the TV May 2021. Stopped working, not responding to the remote at all or any remote. January 2022. Best Buy will fix, over a week to get the parts to fix. But the warranty doesn't extend for a year from repair. So basically i only have another 3 months on the new parts for warranty. The repair person from Geek Squad says the Insignia TVs only last 2-3 years. No wonder they are less than the other brands. Seems absolutely ridiculous for a $500 TV to only be expected to last 2-3 years.

Backlight stopped working 1.5 years into owning it

After roughly a year and a half of owning it (ordered April 2021), the backlight has gone out. Geek Squad has quoted me $99 for someone to come out and diagnose the problem, which is almost 1/3rd of the price I paid for the TV originally. Every other Insignia Fire TV I have purchased has lasted upwards of 4+ years, and this new one couldn't even make it 2 years (2 years of light use on top of it).
