Scrolling horizontal line
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having TV for less than a month a horizontal line across TV showed up. It then scrolls to top of screen. Also people on TV—their faces become misshaped. Very annoying.

No no no
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not good at all. We bought one TV, installed and the image started to have a horizontal line going through the TV. It also had a blackish stain on the top of the screen. We thought we had purchased a defective one so we returned to the store and exchanged for a new unit. Same thing happened and this time it had issues with the sound as well (making a metallic sound). Ugh!!! Gave up on it and decided to go with the LG (which was about $50 more) and it has a better image and sound, and thankfully no issues!!!

Not even 2 years and it’s broken.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I had known this tv would be broken in 2 years I would have invested in a different tv. The screen no longer works and geek squad won’t be able to come and “look at it” for another week and a half then will probably have to wait for it to be repaired or be sent a new tv. I’m at the point of just buying a new one myself. Save yourself the headache and get a better quality tv that lasts longer.

Insignia won't stand behind their poor product.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know this is a very inexpensive TV but only had it for 18 months when problem started. Screen blinks on for a moment then goes black. Tried all the "fixes" with support, nothing worked. 6 months out of warranty so Insignia is no help. With as many people as this has happened to Insignia knows their product is crap. A good company stands behind their product.

Save your money for a better brand
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 2nd tv in three years every year the lcd light goes on on the fire insignia tv 55” and every year i have to fight with Best Buy about a repair or replacement tv is nice but not worth the hassle of having to replace every freaking year (Barely used never stays on more than a few hrs no reason for the light inside the tv to malfunction the same way on two different tvs)

Fair
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't expect to be blown away by the picture quality. This is a budget tv that's fair and nothing more. Good tv for maybe a guest room or garage.

Horizontal Lines Across the Screen!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When watching live TV there is a horizontal line that moves across the screen. We already returned the initial purchase thinking it was a bad TV, but the replacement TV does the same thing! Looks we will be returning this one too! We changed out with a different brand TV altogether and there was no problem. Two TV's with the same exact problem...FRUSTRATING!

Meh
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay for the price, the fire tv built in Is a bit finicky, okay picture quality, huge lack of inputs, many better options for the price.

Picture glitches- have to return
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have pretty low standards for what a TV should be able to do, especially one that we paid $300 for, but this was a total bust. About a month or two after we bought it, the image started glitching. The picture jumps, tracks, and in general isn't smooth at all. It's hard to describe, but it's extremely annoying, and we're highly unlikely to buy another Insignia product. I would very much recommend buying a better brand than Insignia.

Infant Mortality TV takes a crap 13 months old
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This piece of crap lasted just a month longer than the warranty period of 12 months. The screen went black and when I took it to the store they wanted hundreds of dollars to ship it out for repair and replaced a defective part? Told them to scrap it and bought a 58 inch and a 2 YEAR warranty,
