The plasma often shimmers when there is a close up of a person and it resembles a bad acid trip. I thought I was hallucinating the first few times and have just gotten used to it and now pretend it is part of the movie. The remote has to constantly be repaired to the sound system and the tv which is super inconvenient and frustrating. Not the best purchase, but for the price, I can't complain too much.
