    3 of 7 Quit

I purchased 7 of these, 3 of which have quit. One quit while under warranty and was replaced for free. The next 2 quit just out of warranty. We opted not to fix them because the diagnosis fee alone was $125 fee per device plus parts, labor, and the return trip to repair. On all 3, the screens stopped working. The speakers still worked. (We used the remotes to ask Alexa to play Pandora, which worked.) However, the displays were useless.

Not very intuitive at all. I almost took it back because I had such a hard time connecting it to Hulu and Paramount Plus. Unplugging it and plugging it back in seemed to help. I finally got all of my steaming services working. Not I just need to figure out how to put them in the APP list again. Not very impressed.

FireTV is a no-go, and save up to avoid Insignia

I am literally shocked Insignia TV’s have so many positive reviews. I bought 2 and returned both straight away after setting them up for a day. The 55” FireTV was especially awful. All we needed was HDMI input from the cable box and it looked pretty good in menus, but once streaming shows are running it auto dims, auto contrasts, auto adjusts. Even I after we read reviews, setup tips, turned all those auto settings off, still a very low quality picture and bad user experience. The picture looks different per network too, and you’d think Prime would be best but it wasn’t. No matter of settings adjustments could overcome this. I do not recommend.

Seems like i was sold an “open box” when buying a new item. Tape was cut and screws for bases were loose in box. Otherwise roduct seems to be fine.

TV was okay at best. I’m in no way a videophile, but I thought the picture quality was just ok. The Fire TV OS is fine. My main issue was that the image was dark, even after tinkering with the picture settings and calibrating. You basically just lost all picture definition in dark scenes. For an inexpensive TV, or if you’re only just getting in to 4K sets it’s tolerable, I guess, but I’d recommend spending a little extra and getting something a bit better.

I purchased this television as an open-box item for a lower price. Honestly the television could be better. The quality from the image ,to the sound, even the settings . It’s almost like a television with just the basics on it . I use AirPlay and the television gives me an issue every time I use it. When you change the sound quality it sounds the same and when you change the picture quality it sounds the same. Insignia do better .

Horrible tv. I know the brand isn’t great, but I didn’t think it would break down in months. Not even half the year. And we have been trying to get someone to come take a look at it since it’s 1 year warranty, but there always seems to be some kind of issue coming to check it out. Never buying this brand or tv again.
