Insignia's TV's deliver the value! Love it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There's a lot of ways to look at Best Buy's Insignia brand line of TV. Obviously if you're considering an Insignia TV while shopping for a new TV you're on a budget and are looking for the best bang for your buck. While it's debatable as to if Insignia is on top for budget TV's they do fit in for those to seriously consider. I've had enough personal experience with flat screen TV's to give a few brands to look for deals on and one's to avoid. TCL, Hisense Insignia & Vizio are currently the best choices for budget TV's, I'm not mad at Philip's, but their sort of a has been brand and is hard to put them in the list as the same money buys a better one, but I also wouldn't go as far as to say to avoid them either. Meanwhile DO avoid RCA, Westinghouse and especially Element TV's like the plague. RCA & Westinghouse are what I call fallen or has been brands. They used to be great, but now are overrated and even overpriced, at least with Philip's their not too bad and are priced to reflect their quality. Element I'll say Google it, there's actually many sites calling them things like disposable TV's and rambling about how their customer service reflects that. Unlike RCA and Westinghouse they are very competitively priced, no doubt why they remain popular. Ultimately an Element isn't too terrible IF it's for a kid's room or a bedroom TV that's not going to be used much. But obviously I've now turned this review into a comparison. So more about this specific TV. It was mostly easy to unbox and setup even by myself and being a fairly large TV. I personally use an antenna & blu-ray player for my viewing (meaning don't ask me about the smart features, I don't know and I don't care) and with those hooked up it's now performing every bit as good as a TV that costs twice as much. Definitely look for any Insignia TV on sale if interested in one. A, their seriously frequently on sale and B, while their a great value being a budget TV I wouldn't quite say their worth it at their typical full price. I do like the number of inputs and while I'm not into smart features it's nice to know their here as I do occasionally use them (just nowhere near enough to be a selling point for me). Anyway at the end of this an Insignia TV and this one specifically lives up to being an excellent choice for anyone on a budget. Absolutely recommend.

Disappointed

Picture quality was disappointing, compared to our old Samsung. Won’t make this mistake again.

Not a gaming television.

Stay away from these!

Perfect for casual TV viewing

Not sure if it's the right TV for someone intensely into the at-home movie experience, but for the casual viewer, the price/picture/sound are more than adequate. Super light, easy to mount, exactly what I was hoping for.
