Terrible HDR, and seemingly no way to fix it

Gonna return and spring for a different make ASAP. Looked fine until I enabled HDR. No matter how I fiddled with it, the color came in dark and murky, on games that were stunningly vibrant before. I may as well have been playing Guilty Gear in black and white! (For the record, this was on PS5, but I've found people with similar problems on Xbox) I *thought* I had fixed it, only to realize I had actually turned off the HDR. There were almost no custom settings to try anyway. While it allegedly does lower latency in "Game" mode, there's no individual option for that. I can only recommend this if, for whatever reason, you're not going to use HDR on the TV that is supposed to do HDR.

Irritated!!!!!!!

The screen went black but the sound is still working. I have had other tv's for over 10 years that worked better than this. When I first purchased the tv everything was fine but within the last year or I have been having issues with it.

Buyer Beware Insignia TV DOA after 1.5 years

Ive had this tv for 1.5 years and the main board and power board burned out. Best Buy will not own up to this..... I have a Samsung that is 8 years old and works flawless. I got talked into Insignia by sales rep in Virginia Beach VA on Black Friday.... Biggest mistake of my life. I'm so disappointed with how Best Buy is handling it. I buy all my electronics, computers from this store.... Spend more and you will not have regrets.

Prone to breaking, do not recommend
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought one of these tv’s in 2021 and it’s stopped projecting image on the screen a couple months after the purchase but I could still hear audio, a visit from geek squad and I found out it just broke and thankfully they were willing to replace it since it was still under warranty cut to right now and the same thing has happened and it’s definitely out of warranty by now. Save yourself the headache and get any other tv, the f30 class insignias will break quickly

Run away!

Massive inferior build quality. The connections are very difficult to work. The instructions are non-existent and when they are they tell you to go online and look up for each individual problem and you'll have many individual problems I promise you. Whatever you have to do pay the extra amount of money to get another television. Do not buy this one.

Fire Hazard

Didn't even last 2 years before picture went black

junk tv

April of 2023 we go to use the one in the bedroom that we use maybe and hour a day and the screen is black. The one in my son's room that he does use often developed yellow lines. Both 13 month's. Both out of warranty. No help from best buy. Repair guy said not worth it they are junk disposable tv's.

Do not waste your time dragging this piece of crap home with you. I bought this hunk of junk today and spent 2 hours trying to get the remote to connect to the TV, trying every trick I could find on the internet and it would not connect thus making the tv completely useless. I really wanted to take a hammer to it but I decided that I would regret it and not get my money back if I did that. Now I get to drag this piece of crap all the way back to the store. Will never buy a “smart” fire TV again or Insignia for that matter ever again. What a waste of my time .

Stay away

The tv froze several times. It also cut off a few times and wouldn't come back on, I had to unplug it and wait 10 minutes for it to work again. It also blinks in and out, although it's quick it's still noticeable. The volume is not good, need a sound bar.

It’s slow, it’s constantly advertising at me, you can’t turn it on without some thing starting to play, and the Alexa feature takes me to the most random places that half the time it’s not worth using. The homepage is so busy, it makes my brain explode every time I turn it on. I’m not sure what I was expecting but I wasn’t expecting this.

SCREEN BURNS OUT

If you filter by lowest reviews, like I should've, the screen burns out between 14-18 months depending on users. Conveniently outside of the standard warranty. No TV repair place in my area will touch it and Geek Squad can't even fix (they will only replace IF you bought the extended warranty). Also Insignia customer service is the worst. Spend the extra money and buy the Toshiba version, or a better TV in general.

Both TVs the backlit failed

Tried all of the tricks to power reset it nothing worked. Very disappointed. It was a birthday gift for my daughter.
