Horrible tv

Took it down Reeboks it all up took it back to the store replaced it for the identical TV just to bring it home set it all back up and within 2 days dead pixels started popping up. At Best Buy to switch out the TV for a model similar that was a couple dollars more and ask them if they would just cover the difference for the inconvenience they told me no. Insignia is made by Best Buy and it's probably honestly one of the worst TVs I've ever purchased.

Received a refurbished one.

They were a week out for delivery. When it delivered, the box was already opened and retaped, the tv stand legs were opened and the hardware (screws) were in a zip-loc bag. This is my third order with BestBuy that was supposed to be brand new, and arrived refurbished. Don't buy something like this online. I have to wait another week for them to deliver a new one, and hopefully not another refurbished one.

I can't believe it. I was watching a TV show and all of a sudden, the picture went out and a bunch of colorful stripes replaced the picture. This is absolutely unacceptable! With all these bad reviews, why are they still selling this model? I went to Best Buy and ended up with a Worst Buy! On the same day, I also bought the Roku Voice Remote Pro for one of my other TVs because Best Buy advertised that the remote would pair with my specific model Roku TV. It did not. I paid $32 for a non-pairing remote. Do better, Best Buy. I'm giving you 1 shot to fix this by providing me with workable products - and if you can't, I will take my business elsewhere.

Didn't come with remote or TV stand

I even asked for a Tv in excellent condition. What i got was far from excellent. Tv came with no remote and no tv stand and paint marks. I asked for them to send me a tv stand and remote, and they said the only thing they could do is for me to return it to the store for a refund or exchange. I am so disappointed. All they had to do was send me the missing parts

Broken Tv

I didn’t notice it till after 2 weeks n ofcoarse it’s past their return policy. I wasn’t able to open it since I had to travel for work. Lesson learned for sure.

Not recommended

Switched it out 6/5/24 thinking i grabbed one from a bad batch... its 6/8/24 and already got a line through the left side that is striped of color.... not very happy with this.

Lost audio within a month

I used the TV as a set up for an Airbnb and we barely had a couple of guests. I did watch the TV couple of hours before the guest checked in a few days later did not complain so I’m not sure if they watched it, then I had another guest checking not sure if they watched it either but physically the TV looks in great shape and the audio is gone

Cheap and built cheap

Don't pause anything for more than 10 minutes...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay, so I just had a long review typed out, and when I left the screen to take pictures for my review, it deleted everything I typed out. So I'm just going to list a few things that stood out to me, because I'm not typing all that out again. I'm really impressed with this TV, but there's one thing that's extremely irritating about it, and it's the fact that if you pause the TV for more than 10 minutes, it will go to sleep. That shouldn't be a huge deal, but it becomes bigger when the TV is awakened, but it won't return to whatever you were watching, so you have to remember which app you were using (if you're like some people, who watch several different shows, via numerous apps). Unfortunately, I can't always just sit in front of my TV, so I'm one of those people who pauses it a lot. If I had realized this before I bought the TV, I probably would've kept looking for a TV that doesn't automatically go to sleep. That's definitely a feature that should be left as an option. The sound is great! When I ordered the TV, I assumed that I would need to buy a sound bar, but it doesn't need one. The picture is clear and vibrant, and while I tried to get photos that would show this detail, I apologize for any glare in them. Other than the pause/sleep issue, I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Great tv

I was hesitant on buying this tv based on reviews but it’s better option then going with other brands meaning TCL and Hisense. If you use the tv properly it will not be destroyed in 5-10 years from reviews that everyone says. The picture quality is amazing when you sit far away it’s awesome but when you get up real close too the picture it dose look fuzzy but I use it more for regular tv. Yes I ran into some glitches at first like every other tv or electronic it isn’t prefect, when using the apps on the tv I turned it off too switch too live tv from my cable box it did somehow keep playing a video that I was watching I had turn the tv on and off couple times until it stopped running the app. And another problem I run into from time to time is trying switch the tv too HDMI it won’t show up right away too switch too your cable box or gaming system but you have wait few minutes until it shows up or keep turning the tv on and off which is annoying but it dose work. Other then those glitches this tv is fantastic and for the size and quality this tv is a steal. You won’t be disappointed if you buy this tv. Too conclude this review buy this tv you will run into less problems down the road then dealing with TCL TV’s. And one more thing the sound quality is amazing if you have good hearing you won’t need blast the speakers say putting the volume up too 25 or higher but if you have poor hearing you will want turn it up pretty loud between 25-30 but other than that buy this tv

Best option for the price!

No it wont compete with a tv like a top tier sony QLED but why spend that much when you can just buy this insignia and pay a 1/5 of the price and still have a great quality TV. I have a insignia 55” flatscreen tv that ive had and used from 2011 that still works perfectly and use in my garage. So thats why I decided to stick with the insignia ever since. 10/10 recommend.
