I will never buy a Fire TV so long as I live thanks to this device. I was already moving away from Amazon branded anything, but you literally CANNOT set up this TV without a subscription to Prime. Don't have one? No worries, we'll force you to accept a trial with zero other options! Now that you have Prime we'll also include complementary ads on the home screen, with a software experience that makes no intuitive sense. Avoid this TV, and if you don't like wasted time and constant frustrations, avoid Fire TV devices in general.

I purchased this device on July 4, 2025. The first week it started doing little weird things like not changing the channel or changing purple whenever I would change apps. I should have returned it the first week but it didn't, now I'm stuck with a tv that had a loud frying sound and everything is purple in hue. This is my 5th Insignia tv and my last. I'm disappointed that ive had this device foe less than a month and that I can't watch, and i trusted Best Buy to resolve this issue quickly but no such luck, they'll send someone in 16 days.

I had to return the Insignia 55" tv. HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 ports did not work. HDMI 3 was fine. I found this out after Spectrum came out.

if you've ever had a better TV you WILL notice the difference. I hate it. my Last tv was over 1200 but it was also almost 10 years old. The picture was still better than this one. Its was a bit smaller though. That's the main reason I switched. i might put it back because this one drives me nuts. if you don't have anything to compare this too then you might like it. it's a big tv that works. Glad there's options for everyone. New movies look fine but I stream and find some videos on the internet and you can see it's pixelated. id probably put this in a Childs room.

The sound quality is extremely poor, with constant interruptions and frequent freezing, making it very difficult to enjoy or clearly understand anything being played. The audio often cuts out unexpectedly, leaving long gaps of silence, and the freezing disrupts the overall experience, creating frustration and making it almost unusable.

Works, lighting is good. Speed is very slow when changing apps or using the remote. Lags a ton, not sure if i just got a bad one because everyone else has amazing reviews. Changed for a TCL … TCL was better

It has a pretty picture. Was working good. Sith in a month the sound keeps buzzing. Too laye to return. Disappointed….it was a present for my mother. I usually get Toshiba.

Don’t ever buy from Best Buy. Worse company service I’ve ever seen. I spent hours with their customer service who did not do anything except for give me no response and promise a call back that never happened. I consider this store a scam now. I will never buy anything from them again due to the awful service I experienced.
