Great price. It’s not top of the line but that’s not what I paid for. If your looking for a decent tv with the benefit of a smart tv and you don’t mind not having the absolute beet in picture quality or sound, here’s a great option. I hooked mine up to a sound bar. Now it sounds awesome!!

Bought this last week on sale. For $249 this is a very nice TV. I replaced a many years old 55" Vizio 1080p set. It's a nice upgrade in picture. The integrated Fire TV is great. Being able to have OTA antenna channels and PlutoTV in one TV guide list is great. I wish my bigger living room TV had integrated FireTV now so I could access the same features.

I got this TV to replace a 50' Toshiba fire TV. I never could get the colors right even with calibration settings. Decided I've been happy with all the Insignia TVs, so purchased this. Much better picture than the Toshiba, bright and crisp..easy setup and love the quality. If you're looking for a 55', and are on a budget, you can't go wrong!

I returned three TCL’s because of banding and dirty screen effect. The screen on this tv was perfect. No.....it’s not an OLED, but for $300 you can’t beat it. The picture is great and the fire TV works just fine. As with all lower cost sets, the colors start fading when you sit at an angle, but it’s not a deal breaker. I’d buy another if I needed it.

Purchased this TV to use outside on a screened porch. Obviously it's not designed to be used outside, but I've gotten about six months out of it so far without issue. It's in a spot where it won't get wet, but naturally there are other issues with outside use that could arise. I'm taking a gamble on that. I could buy almost ten of these TV's (at the sale price I purchased for) before I break even on an outdoor designated set, so we'll see. With that being said the picture quality is really nice. Does it compare to the premium TV set that I use inside in my HT setup, well, no. Mainly the black levels are the most noticeable weak spot. But at the price point I paid for this TV I am honestly blown away by how nice it is. The picture could be brighter during peak daylight hour usage, but again that's not a fault of the TV itself. Indoors that would not be an issue. I would absolutely purchase this set or one similar again in the future if the need arises, whether it is to replace the existing one due to premature malfunction because of the environment it is in, or to use in a secondary room where a premium set is just unnecessary.

Love it easy to use great picture great price great all around

Wasn't sure about buying an Insignia TV. But at just over $250, and it being a 4K smart TV, I thought it was worth a shot. I was not disappointed. Built-in Roku and great picture and quality sound. It has quickly become my favorite TV in the house to sit and enjoy a game or a late night movie.

Crisp, clean picture. Love the Amazon Fire interface. This is our second TV with Amazon Fire interface and we’ll definitely keep getting tvs with it. Was having a hard time seeing dark scenes on our old tv and I wish we would have upgraded sooner, because it’s no longer an issue with this tv. Super easy to use and set up.

I am very happy with the 55in. smart fire tv. It is easy to set up and responds well compared to the fire stick. Picture needed to be adjusted right out of the box. Sound isn't the best, but it is an entry level tv. Overall I would purchase again and recommend without hesitation. Again, this is entry level tv.

This TV is great! It takes a little bit to get used to the remote if you are used to a standard TV remote, but after that, it becomes pretty intuitive. It also has many apps to add to the TV, including some less common ones that you might not find on other smart TVs (or at least were not on my other TV)

Bought as a Christmas gift for my mom. This is her 1st "smart TV and an upgrade from the 32 in she had. I didn't realize it was an Amazon Fire TV. Can't download the Spectrum app which is the reason for the 4 stars. She had to get used to ising it but overall, it's a pretty good buy, especially for the price.

I have always owned LG or Phillips TVs I bought one of these for my daughter for her room realized how nice it was one of my other TVs went bought another one by one for my mother-in-law now I’m up to five of them all different sizes each one is amazing no problems whatsoever easy set up well worth the money

The picture quality is outstanding for the price. I can't speak for the sound as I installed a sound bar before the TV ever got plugged in. The setup was very easy, connecting to my wifi and setting up my different accounts was a synch. 1 month in I'm pleased, and glad I purchased. Now lets see how long it lasts.

I did so much research on a great intro 4K tv...and there were so many options. However, I went with this one and I am so glad that I did. A wonderful price and great tech, this Insignia doesn't ever seem low-quality or cheap. Yes there is over-saturation of color occasionally, but that rarely happens. Plus- GAMES LOOK GREAT ON HERE.
