Not sure why the rest of these reviews say this TV is so good, it was terrible after getting it all set up and wall mounted. I thought it would be really good based on the reviews, but let me clarify a little bit. I guess I'm picky and other people aren't as much as I am with attention to details. They just want it to "work". I can't settle for something as big as a purchase as this just to be unhappy with it ultimately, since a TV is typically a purchase you want to keep for awhile and attempt to try to get enough years of service out of it. Anyway, this TV has extremely terrible viewing angles, washed out colors, remote isn't programmable like other fire TV remotes are, 4K doesn't really look 4K like the OLED or higher level displays do. It looks more like a more "stepped up" 1080p quality depending on what you are watching and how your settings are setup too (which are limited too in the way of tuning them too by the way). Also, another thing I noticed right away and I've seen a few other bad reviews talk about on here about this particular TV is that, along with all these other problems I just mentioned, it has a TERRIBLE lip sync issue, and what I mean by that is people's mouths are still moving when the audio is done coming out of the speakers, tried to see if it was my soundbar and unplugged it, no difference through the TV speakers themselves. Absolutely unwatchable, especially long term for that matter, it really bothered me. I get you that get what you pay for, but man these lower end 4K TVs are terrible these days. After returning to a couple local Best Buy locations to ask why, I learned that if you are buying the lower-end 4K displays, you will definitely get what you pay for. I figured 4K is 4K, right? Wow, was I wrong lol. They will absolutely not perform like the fancy Samsung ones you see for way more money on display at the store. Problem is, I had no way of knowing this, since these cheaper 4K TVs like this are NEVER on display, and even if they are, they only show a 1080p output thru coax connection which is a terrible idea since you don't really know what you're buying until you get home and set it all up. And if you ask me, TVs of this size or larger is a real pain to have to haul it back and forth from your home to the store simply because Best Buy can't have them all on display (showing true 4K content) like the higher end ones. Really leaves the customer with no idea on what they are getting without seeing it perform at its full potential in person, and also, a lose-lose situation for the customer and the store in and of itself because the store now has a TV they have to sell for less since its opened, and the customer has to waste their time taking it back. All in all, terrible experience. Anyway, I returned it within the return policy period and bought a simple 48" Westinghouse 1080p TV that works fine for what I need with the 5 year Geek Squad warranty, so if it breaks from being a Westinghouse, I'm covered. I'll wait till 4K comes a little further along the way with more content and bang for your buck before I try to buy another one. The same thing happened with 720p/1080p TVs when they first came out like 10 years ago, they all had bad viewing angles and washed out colors unless you bought the higher end, super expensive ones. Funny how history repeats. ;) Save yourself the trouble and buy yourself another simple 1080p TV or a higher end 4K TV and don't waste your time having to haul something of this size back and forth to the store like I did. Hope this helps someone.
