Tried everything to get Alexa to work with Fire and had no success, Alexa would tell you it was connected with tv then shortly after it would disconnect, When telling Alexa commands for tv it would say it could not find tv. If Alexa was plugged in the tv sound would go so low you could hardly hear it even if raised to 100. Realized it was trying to play tv sound through Alexa device and would have to tell Alexa to raise its volume. If Alexa was unplugged the sound would come back to tv with normal control through tv remote, I finally went into Amazon app and disconnected the tv from Alexa, I think the software needs to work out a few bugs, Very disappointed with purchase,

This TV is a great option for inexpensive outdoor tv - provide its being used on a covered or enclosed patio. Positioning is key as well. This unit is not bright enough to compete with direct sunlight of direct (bright) reflection.

On 8/31/19 I killed my daughters 65" TV. I went to Best Buy to purchase another one for her. The best thing I could have done. The young lady that help me was very nice and honest! She is a great asset to Best Buy! When I return, I want her to help me!

This high tech television makes watching tv so much fun! It puts everything I need in one place. It’s excellent! But if you aren’t good with technology as I tend to struggle at times myself, this tv may get confusing. But definitely worth taking some time to get used to!

I bought this television for my father. He absolutely loves it! It is wonderful that he can speak into the remote in order to control the television. He also loves having the choice of YouTube, Netflix, etc., without him having to press a lot of buttons. Love it!

I bought the TV during last Black Friday’s sale for a great price. The built in FireTv is very convenient. The only thing I don’t live is the sound. It’s either way too loud or soft. It’s hard to get the sound level just right.

My daughter helped me unpack this and lift it. Little did I know she grasped the edge of the TV with her hands and the TV was damaged immediately. Love the TV.. easy setup easy to use and great picture but very fragile. Careful when unpacking!!

Anytime I turn it on it flashes on then screen goes black then it turns on. It does pick up where you left off on whatever app you or whoever last watched. Easy setup.

Not the best picture quality, but it had all of the features my nephew was looking for. For the price, it actually performed better than I was expecting, so you could say I was pleasantly surprised.

Got it for a good sale price. Updates are numerous and seems to still be supported. Which is great. Doesn’t lag much. Seems to get updates before the fire sticks. Game mode a must to prevent lag.

This is a nice piece of television, great video quality and the response is good, even if you don't have prime you can still take advantage of youtube and netflix, you can even download and play some simple games from the amazon store for free.

I have bought about 5 different Insignia TV’s now and each one had performed perfectly. They are one of the best products on the market for the money. I still have all the Insignia TV’s I have bought and none of them have ever had any issues whatsoever.

Well I purchased this TV in April 2019 after a Best Buy associate recommended this over the Samsung 55’ I was going to buy. It does have a great picture quality I must admit. It has only frozen up on me where I had to reset the TV only a couple of times. Well today (9/25/20) I got the dreaded black screen when I turned it on. You can hear sound, but no picture. The only picture you ever get is the half second picture you see when you turn it on. Of course since it has passed it’s 1 year warranty, I have a 55’ paperweight. After a little research, I see that black screen is a common issue that other customers have experienced. Unfortunately I happen to now be one of them. If you do purchase, I would suggest the extended warranty.

Great looking picture and convenient apps available. It lacks video input ports I expected from such an advanced TV as most other similar ones are more accommodating for PC use.

Overall everything is nice. My only complaint is the tv only has one button on the unit. So you always need the remote to change the volume. Maybe I’m old fashioned but I think there should be menu and volume buttons on the tv.

Works great and it is nice to be able eliminate having a separate amazon fire. I am subtracting one star due to the fact that the sound is terrible on it's own. Make sure you are getting a sound bar or separate stereo system.

We purchased this television to replace a VIZIO that we were having trouble with. It is great to cover streaming channels and regular cable TV. The store employee was not too impressed with the audio on the unit but it serves us just fine.

This TV just died after 2 years. There is sound and no picture except for the occasional flicker. While it worked, it was great and better than an older Samsung I have. But, if it only lasts 2 years, it's disposable & that's unacceptable. Usually, Insignia is decent, if not the best. This time, not so much.

Theres definitely some latency issues when playing games and the brightness and contrast is not the best. The main selling point is the price. For the size, this is great purchase. No regrets

new to fire, it easily enabled me to cut the cord. only concern is that the colors are a bit askew...but maybe if i made a small effort to adjust them it would be better
