Elected to purchase this TV because it offer fire stick. Will be using it as a outside (covered) area TV. Price was good. Quality is good. Best Buy associates were very helpful

I purchased the Insignia 4K UHD Fire TV Edition after another brand TV's power supply went dead. So far I am extremely happy with the decision great picture, decent sound nice features. I also personally like the Fire TV edition and remote. This TV is for a seasonal home and I am able to take advantage of all the streaming options like HBO, Showtime, etc... I also find it easier to use things like Youtube via the fire tv interface. I have two smaller Fire TV's which I got first and was happy with them so decided to try the 55 inch version. Really the only negative ( for me) is it is a little thicker of a TV when hung on a wall, but not obnoxiously too thick. not enough to take away a star.

What can I say? Great picture, great sound. Easy to set up. I didn’t have to adjust the picture at all. Color is perfect. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Early Christmas present for the family

This is a perfect tv for the price you’re paying. The picture is great and I haven’t had any problems with delay or stalling. Roku will be the first screen you see though, so it comes before your cable. And you have to use 2 different remotes if you have cable. The only issue I had which is part of the TV I was told, is that if you pause a show or if you stay on the roku app page for about 10-15 the tv turns off automatically. Apparently Insignia said it is a ECO setting to save energy that is automatically setup for the TV and you can’t change this option. Other than that I have no issues with this TV.

Was Looking for a good, inexpensive, option and this more than fits the bill. Probably not the best picture ever but it pretty darn good and nice features for the price. Definitely recommend.

Bought this for the kids to play video games and movies. Easy to use and the picture is fantastic . I wish the made a larger size, 65 or 70” woul be amazing . Highly recommend

Easy to set up, good picture, overall great bargain and well worth the cost. Wouldn’t call this a high-end TV but for a spare bedroom it does the job

We get our TV service through Playstation VUE, and we like the service, but since it is internet based it requires an app for Chrome, or FireTV, or PS3 or PS4 or Phone or whatever. This TV is the only TV that we have found that has the ability to have the App directly on the device. The controller also has a PS Vue button and also can make the PS VUE and Broadcast channels come together in the same menu for convenience. The sound is OK and the remote is not universal so we use our Receiver remote for sound (surround sound not TV speakers). Overall the EASE OF USE for PS VUE is 10/10, the rest is a nice basic TV.

So far I think I made a great buy. Good picture there are a lot of apps to download. I have a lot to choose from. I always wanted a fire stick. So haven it built in is a plus.

You can experience at really good picture... the sound is great ,I’m very satisfied with this tv plus the fire edition is included .. is a great bonus for the price.. !!

I love how the tv sounds because it gets loud without having to turn up the volume real high. I love the built in fire tv. With this tv I will never go back to having a regular cable box service.

Picture is great and love in FireTV integration! Speakers could be better, but they do get pretty loud. I'd suggest setting is up next to a wall to get the full reverb from the speakers. It would be best to purchase a soundbar though because since the speakers designate "surround sound" all streaming services will default to that and you'll have loud music and background noise, but quiet dialogue. Easily fixed by changing audio to stereo if available in the app you're using.

This TV is amazing and the 4k resolution is on point. On top of that, the price is a steal and I love that it comes with fire TV so I can watch all my shows and play game in 4k resolution.

NOTHING was available for $250 that matched this 55" TV. When I got it home I was really impressed. At first, I hooked it up to my network via wireless using my Comcast 5G Arris box. NO PAXAILIZATION (sp???) at all, but I still like wiring it since the box is 4 feet away. So don't be afraid to go wireless with it. It faces a window that has a lot of light in the AM. While it doesn't completely mask it, it does a really good job of reducing the light. Only complaint is that whenever I turn it on, it does not come up to the last thing I was watching (cable box, Antenna, etc), but I can get over that. There is NOTHING close in this price range. 55 inches of 4K love.

What a great deal $257 out the door. 4K with FireTv. Looks great with my PS4 Pro. Sounds is ok, I am using my Samsung 5.1 sound bar. I recommend this TV for the price you can't go wrong.

Great TV for the price. Can't beat it especially if you can find it on sale. The picture isn't the best but it's 4k and still pretty good. Not top specs but can't beat it for the price.

Great tv for the price,I liked my 32" insignia tv so much,i bought the 55" insignia,awesome picture and the sound is not bad either,overall,I am happy with my purchase.

Bought this tv on sale at a great price. I love the fact the app already on the tv so no need for a fire stick or other device. Picture and sound is clear. Very easy to mount on wall

Nice TV for displaying my work at my portrait studio. Easy set up with nice overall color. Not sure about other features as I only use with computer hook up.

Honestly this is my 2nd Insignia TV, but definitely my initial foray into a large screen smart TV with most of the bells an whistles. My feeling on flat screen technology nowadays is that the TV's keep making tremendous leaps every 18 to 36 months, so there is no need for me to ever spend thousands on a set that will become outdated all too soon. The Alexa remote works well, though as a man in my 50's, after the novelty effect wore off I don't really need to speak to my remote to change channels or hdmi inputs. It works well, though so if that's your thing....I have Verizon FiOS at the house and I could really SEE a difference in detail and screen resolution. Every TV show, every sports event just looks great. Netflix 4K programming is simply stunning. This is a full featured 55 inch smart tv, 2160p with an Alexa voice remote - I paid $329.00 plus tax on a great Best Buy deal. Insignia is Best Buy's house brand and I did have an older Insigina 40 inch (that I have since given to my son), so I am familiar with this "off" brand's actual quality - at the price point it cannot be beaten. If I put it up against a top of the line Sony or Samsung I am sure one could see that the picture of the more expensive tv was slightly better, deeper blacks, etc....or whatever these reviewers keep gushing about - but honestly, with a superior cable/internet service like FiOS I feel like I have never enjoyed a sharper, clearer hi-def picture than I am right now. All for under $450.00 including a 5 year service plan and taxes is just too good a deal to miss. At some point in the future I may spring for a tv from pone of the "big boys" but I am not so sure. This tv shines with hi-def programming so I believe having a superior tv/internet service is very important. Just starting to get into the apps but my live tv, Netflix, Amazon Prime and 4K content looks fantastic with this set. I use a Sony 2.1 stereo sound base for the audio. I do notice a slight lag in sound, an echo effect when I use tv speakers and the Sony sound base. The cure is to turn the tv speakers down to 2, then I simply get an "enhanced" stereo effect. If you are not hung up on name brands and just want a killer tv with a strong feature set then check out this tv.
