Stay away from their "protection plan"

I purchased a 5 year protection plan which ended up being useless (and nonrefundable, of course). This TV is no longer available and since it's holiday season, NO TVs are available as a comparable replacement. So now I'm out a TV and out the 100 bucks I paid for the so-called protection plan and am left with store credit. I'll use the store credit for something else but this will be my last TV purchase from Best Buy.

Great picture but not remote friendly

The TV was designed to work with an "alexa" device. I refuse to use one of these. If you like Alexa you'll probably like the TV otherwise not so much.

Our Fire TV remote's work with Bluetooth, and it will only work with Bluetooth remotes. I turn it on, and see a quick flicker, then it goes black screen. Still hear sound, but no picture. Tried the unplug/plug back in fix, didn't work. Don't know what to do with it now.
