I was absolutely blown away by this TV. The picture quality, ease of use, ease of setup and sound quality far, far exceeded what I expected at this price point. Upon opening the box, I was impressed by the simple inclusion of handle cut-outs on the TV wrapper/bag. You just grab the handles and lift straight up. Such a simple detail to immediately improve the customer experience. We were off to a pleasant start. The television is extremely lightweight. I had no problems setting it up by myself, and I have a bad shoulder. The directions encourage you to set it up with a helper but, if you’re like me, and insist on doing things yourself, you will manage fine. The physical assembly is minimal, with two feet requiring two screws each. Make sure you have a place cleared to lay it down, so you can attach the feet. You’ll need a Philips head screwdriver. The feet allow for 2” of clearance so if you use a sound base you may need a bit more height. (more on sound systems later) The initial setup of wifi and fire tv is easy and intuitive. If you can type a username and password, it’s pretty much impossible to go wrong. Just follow the prompts. So let’s be perfectly honest here; I wasn’t expecting top of the line performance at this price point. I would have been happy with a good picture and clean user interface. I definitely didn’t expect much in the sound department. Well…...BOY OH BOY was I surprised. Once the TV was set up and I started watching, I was stunned by the picture quality. It was SO bright and SO clear, I immediately went to picture settings to check all the variations, and it was just so damned good! I’m not that person who fiddles with the TV settings all the time, so I found every picture setting to be quite good, but in the end, I stuck with the standard setting. In the past, I’ve noticed TV reviews that paid a lot of attention to black uniformity and backlight bleed. I looked up these issues online so I would know what I was looking for, and I can say the black color on this television is very even across the screen and there is no backlight bleed at all. The sound quality was the biggest shock of all. I was just amazed at how good the sound is on this unit. It has two 10w speakers with DTS TruSurround and Dolby. I have never seen a flatscreen TV with such good speakers. The only reason I own a soundbar and a soundbase is because my previous flatscreen TV’s sounded so terrible. I set this TV up in my living room where I have the Bose soundbase. I definitely don’t need the soundbase anymore. I’ve been listening to music on the TV while I write this review and it’s terrific. The sound is loud, clear and vibrant. The bass is full without being overwhelming. The treble is bright and clear without being tinny. If I max out the volume, it is definitely too loud for comfort. I’ve never been able to say that about a smart tv. I cannot recommend this TV highly enough. This level of performance and picture quality at this price point is unprecedented. This is the TV that will make the big names stand up and take notice. They won’t be able to charge you those crazy prices much longer,

This tv comes with firestick and all inputs i use, no need to connect anything extra
