I was looking to replace a living room tv. For starters the Amazon Fire platform is clunky. If you are not a tech savvy person, and I very well am and I still chunked around trying to get comfortable with it. The picture was not great. I watched three different programs, a live basketball game, the 4k channel on Directv, and a regular program. I then hooked it up to my AppleTV 4k. I was not impressed even at $250. The only person I would recommend this tv for would be a kids game room that has a 4k gaming system maybe and if you can get it around $200. Even then your kids my say thanks but non thanks.
