    I got the Tv 7 months ago. The tv started not working well on 2 months ago. when I had a problem, I turned off and waited 5mins and turned on, it worked. Now, it turned off itself and didn’t work well with remote control. Tomorrow I will contact Bestbuy and return it. Please do not buy this Tv

    We like it just wish it had an option for external storage via a flash drive or something. The storage is minimal for app downloads, can’t seem to find a way around it

    Fire edition tv’s are hard to get used to and don’t function well if you don’t plan on using the fire stick setup. There’s no way to turn it off either, you’re stuck dealing with amazons subpar interface

    The TV as a whole is not a bad TV. What really got me was that after 6 months the screen just went black. There was audio but no picture. I contacted Geek Squad as I had purchased the warranty and they fixed it and life was good. Fast forward 3 months and the exact same problem has occurred. I contacted Geek Squad again who agreed to replace the TV. All around the service has been good, but the TV should not have this sort of problem TWICE after less than a year of ownership. Guess you get what you pay for.

    Never Again! Died Immediately After 1 Yr Warranty

    I guess I learned my lesson the hard way about Insignia TVs. In the past 30 years, I've NEVER had a tv that went bad this fast. My son is still using another brand's tv that I bought over 20 years ago. I bought this one to upgrade to 4k and get out of the stone ages. While the price may seem inexpensive for most people, this certainly something I am prepared to buy/replace every year. I was initially impressed with the quality of this tv. Now, exactly 1 year and 2.5 months after purchase, it's a huge paperweight. I was watching it one minute, and the next minute the backlight is blown. There was no power surge, nothing to cause it. It was hanging on my wall operating fine one second, and the next second, it goes black. The entire tv is shot! From what I understand, it can't be fixed for less than the cost of a new television. 1 year old! Of course it's 2 months past the manufacturer's warranty. This is exactly how it's intended to be. Upon further research, I find out that this is a very common issue. I'm just downright angry at this point. As a single mom who is working, going to school, and raising a special needs child, I don't have $400 to throw away for a new tv every year just because this company is knowingly selling poor quality products.

    Pros: FireTV smart interface is great, really responsive, remote is very intuitive. Cons: colors are bit too aggressive, especially the REDs. Tried toning down color/tint for 4k videos, but then HD videos become too dull.

    Got this as an open box item for super cheap. All functions work great. Only one issue, if you pause anything, when you begin playback the volume goes to full and takes about 30 to reset back to original setting.

    Tv worked great the first 9 months we had it, all of a sudden the tv would turn on then turn right back off with sound but no picture

    I bought this TV in 2018 and then in 2019 the tv display stopped working. Thankfully I had geek squad protection and I got it replaced without having to pay extra money. Then again couple of days back the display stopped working again. Unfortunately this this my geek squad protection plan had expired. Now I would have to buy a new one. Running into th same issue twice does indicate that this TV is not reliable.
