Just past the warranty and dead!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my first TV purchased and was happy until 1 year and two months past the purchase date. Bought the TV on 04/17/2020 and it is 04/14/2021 and I have a TV that is not turning on, and outside if it's warranty. The options are, get a full diagnosis or buy a new TV according to Insignia. The rep stated since I didn't buy an extended warranty, than these are my two options. Don't really know what to expect of TV's since this is the first example. I guess I should budget for a new one annually.

Average TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After just a little over a month of viewing the pixels are having a rough time keeping up with any sports viewing and action shows. There is a slight blur that happens often. Definitely unexpected.

So-so
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is OK, but not great. The main problem is that I cannot get it to work with DirectTV remote. The volume could be controlled by their remote right out of the box, but not anything else.

Nice picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This smart tv is great with wireless cable or using hotspot. My biggest issue is you cannot watch any HBO show without several interruptions. Very frustrating!! So for that reason I don’t recommend this tv.

GOOD TV OVERALL
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.its literally an amazon fire stick with a couple apps already on it like YouTube but as a tv ... not really convenient I hate the little remote it comes with.

No remote bottoms on the TV remote.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My boys are enjoying this buy better than I do. Only because I'm not so use to the alexa feature. That is my mayo issue when wanting to change the channel. Besides that it is a good buy.

Not the best for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The refresh rate could have been better. Sound fades in and out and the screen seems to have a lot of delay

Great Value, horrible TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV was pretty bad for me. Noticed a great amount of pixelation and banding on dark colors. PS4 Pro gaming was choppy, and same issue with pixelation and banding on darker gradients and colors. It's not a TV with Fire, it's a Fire TV... It's all controlled by amazons incredibly horrid UI. Could not find a way to adjust picture settings LIVE (With video playing in background as adjustments were made). Impressed by TV speaker though. To be fair, I am spoiled by an OLED, this was a gaming / second room TV. 1 Star for Price 1 Star for speakers

Good colors
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV itself is okay at best. I got it for about $400 so it was worth the money, but like the old saying goes, you get what you pay. The TV does not have a good color distribution.

Great Price but poor picture quality.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Price was great , but you get what you pay for. First things first, This is a glorified Amazon Fire Stick. Each time you turn it on, it opens with the Amazon Home Fire stick type Home page. To watch cable TV, you need to select the proper INPUT each time you turn on the unit. The picture quality is where this unit falls short. When the action is slow it looks fine. When the action on screen speeds up, it falls behind.... but then again, its a cheap 55” tv. You get what you pay for.

Ok for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's not a Samsung. Has locked up twice since purchased just before Christmas. All blue screen on HDMI. Had to unplug from wall to clear. Sound quality is average.

Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good while it lasted. Fire TV was great, but this model burned out under two years. I have insignia TV going on 7 years. Not sure what happened with this model. Fortunately, purchased 5yr geek squad warranty. They came out to evaluate and was told they would submit for exchange and contact me. Still waiting for their call.

Just ok
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lacks miracast and other casting tech. Is also super thick, even for a budget priced tv. Works ok in my home gym where it only gets used 1-2 hours per week.

Picture needs Hep
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s impossible to get the colors right on this TV. It’s either too bright or looks too green for my liking. Spend a few dollars more and buy a Vizio or LG.

This TV doesnt last very long.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV broke after one year of use. The TV just flashed and it did not turn on. The Geeksquad said it was the panel and it was not worth to repair. Thankfully, I had purchased warranty mainly because it was a new brand for me. The price was very good compare with other brands, but I dont think the low price justifies the bad quality. One positive thing is that it has SmartFire integrated which I prefer to Roku or Chrome cast.

It’s okay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like that it has Alexa but it sucks that you have to log into your amazon account to download other things and for some reason I have to reconnect to the WiFi all the time

||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not sure I'll buy another smart tv. I think this one has ruined me. It lags horribly, and has little storage.

Do Not Buy This TV
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this tv in 2020. It has been sitting in the same spot on my bedroom the entire time. Now suddenly the screen is black and the screen won’t stay on. I have had a Samsung tv for over 10 years and it was brought from a pawn shop and it still works the same. Insignia has unreliable products.

Disappointment
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not sure if the issue is with Firetv or Insignia, but we have audio sync issues with literally every app with the exception of Netflix. A reset usually resolves it temporarily, but it always comes back after switching apps two or more times. FireTV also seems to be lacking on the apps. The UI is quite annoying, to actually reset the TV, one has to go through the home app to settings which is clunky at best. Would not purchase again.
