The one that gets used all the time works fine the one that was barely used… Probably 20 total hours in the first year has video issues… Half the screen starts to develop lines and then the screen just goes away. Back light is clearly working… So it’s a failure of the actual panel… Not cost-effective to fix

After only a year and a half the screen is blank. Seriously?! What a piece of junk. Never had a tv die this quickly. Usually I buy an updated one with lots of lifeeft to the old one years later. This is ridiculous!

    Problems from day one

I have had good luck with Insignia TVs in the past. This one just didn't work as well. I have had issues from day one, using it in conjuction with my home theater system. The audio sync was off. There are settings to correct it in the receiver, but it only seems to correct it for a power cycle or two before I had to redo the setting. Every so often I have had do a factory reset on it because the screen image would shrink. And now, after 2 years, the backlight LEDs are shutting off. The TV will play for a couple of minutes, then the LEDs will shut off. This makes the TV image go black, but I can still hear the audio. Time for another TV.

This TV died in 2 years… got black screen, can get sound but no picture. It’s cheaper than other TVs, but I don’t recommend you to buy this product.

It was decent while it lasted. The picture was always a bit too dark but overall it was ok. But barely two years later and just outside my BB warranty, the screen flashes on for a second when I try to turn it on then goes black.

TV worked for 18 months. Good deal, but not if it’s only good for a year and a half. Screen flashes on, then goes blank. I can still hear the sound. Now it’d cost more to fix than buy another cheap one and it’s just going to take up space at the dump.

Overall TV is fair however, wouldn't you know typical of everything you don't buy the extended warranty and the picture tube went out exactly 15 days after the one year purchase date. So, a word of advise take the extended warranty out on all your expensive items when it's offered!!

It’s a good tv but I was miss the remote and was told they would locate one for me but was never contacted back and I walked my tv from the back of the store all the way to the front. All because one of the workers said he wasn't on the clock and didn’t know where anyone else was to help..

I rarely write reviews. I purchased this TV for one of my bedrooms in 2019. Aware of the fact insignia is considered a “cheaper brand”, I figured why not give it a shot for the great price. Today I found out why I shouldn’t have. I cut the TV on today to find the sound was working, but no the screen. The TV has only had regular use with no damage or trauma to the actual screen. The black light clearly stopped working because the TV still has sound, and no reset options are fixing the image issue. The price that it will cost to fix the backlight is more than what the TV was actually bought for. Making this a two-year lemon purchase. Of course the warranty is lapsed too now. First and last insignia purchase.

I had a really really had high hopes for insignia as I own two of their TVs, a sound bar and a TV stand and their product seem to be pretty good however just recently the TV I bought a year ago has gone black. I know the TV is on because I can still hear the sound but there is no picture. Obviously this is an ongoing issue because I’ve seen multiple reviews and blogs on the Internet regarding this issue. I’ve purchased a second TV from them and I’m concerned that my second TV will do the same thing. Very disappointing. Insignia is Best Buy‘s brand. How can Best Buy sell something that’s not the best buy. This was an absolutely waste of money. I’ve tried every troubleshooting option the TV is still black.
