Trash brand! Picture gone out after a year

The picture has already gone out in it. I haven’t had this tv a full 2 years! Insignia’s manufacturers warranty is only good for 1 year. How ironic!!! When I keep reading about customers picture going out right after the year mark. How conning! Such a rip off. I wouldn’t recommend this brand to anyone unless you have money to throw down the drain or remember to add the Best Buy geek squad warranty. Otherwise, spend a few extra hundreds and get a better brand with a better warranty and who aren’t trying to beat people out of their money!

Everytime you turn on the TV, you have to select the input method you want. Impossible to use just 1 remote. Have always bought Insignia TV's but this will be the last.

not worth it

At least a couple times a month, we have to unplug it , then plug it in again to get it to work. Also the picture is on the darker side. I would not recommend this. We will be replacing this soon.

Had this model for 1 year and 5 months before the picture completely quit working. The sound continues to work, but there is no image. Called customer service and followed all the reset directions to no avail. Cost to fix is more than the cost of the TV. Checked the internet and came to find that many others have had the same issue with several of the insignia models. There is a flaw with this brand of TV, but once it’s outside of the 1-year manufacturer’s warranty, it’s YOUR problem and ‘it’s too bad so sad’. Save your money and stay away from insignia TV’s.

The television was great until the last several months the screen began flickering. Now the screen won't turn on and flashes when you turn the TV on. Seems like this is a common issue based on my internet searches and have trouble shot as much as I could and it does not work. Overall, this seems like a waste of money buying this television since it's only lasted me a year and a half with minimal use. Warranty is only for a year so it's out of that time frame which is a bummer as well.

Defective tv

This was before the 15 days return period for electronics paid in total 486.00 all I wanted was to exchange it for a different brand didn’t want to go threw having to drive 30 minutes away back and forth. They went to the back and found a screw riiigggghhht they where just trying to pocket off some money is what I’m thinking it was ridiculous.

The sound works but there is no picture. When you turn it off & on, the screen just flashes and goes black again.

Failed after 20 months!

Satisfied for 20 months. Picture on first TV went out 2 weeks ago. Picture on second TV went out yesterday. Out of warranty!! First TV probably used 50% more than TV 2 but both FAILED at 20 months?? Searched for troubleshooting problem and discovered many complaints of the same problem and not worth cost of repairing. Sounds like product defect and should be RECALLED. I need 2 new TVs and they will NOT be Insignia!

This is very disappointing because based on the information I have seen online Insigna, Best Buy and Amazon are all aware if this consistent problem with is TV. And they continue to sell this subpar product. I purchased 2 of these tvs and both have the exact same issue, the screens have gone Black (Still have sound but no picture), how is that possible? STAY AWAY from this product line and Amazon and Best Buy how can either of you stand behind a manufacturer that doesn't stand behind there product.

Costs more to repair than to buy a new one. They know just how long the warranty should be. Insignia = Never again.
