I say daily “I hate this tv”
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT BUY THIS TV. It was a Black Friday special for cheap so I made a spur of the moment decision to buy. You get what you pay for... it’s awful. Freezes constantly, sound is terrible! And when it does work, it runs so slow!!! I say daily how much I can’t stand it or how much I hate it.

Will never purchase Insignia product
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.T.V went out 1 year and 2 weeks after purchase. Factory warranty only covers exactly 1 year of purchase. Cost almost as much to replace the part that went out.. Will only invest in LG or Sony and since bought both a LG and Sony Television. You get what you pay for

Posted .Hi, Dana.
Thank you for taking the time to share your review. I would like to point out that the TV does come with HDMI ports, 3 of them actually. They are located on the back of the unit.

Love the idea of Fire TV Edition
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Brought it home and the audio jacks didn't work. Called best buy and they cannot send a tech. So once again I'm off removing the tv from the wall mount unit to return it. This is the 2nd TV in less than a year I purchased from Best Buy and both times I had to return the set.

Audio lag is horrendous
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The audio is almost a full half-second behind the picture. It ruins shows. This happens no matter what, even if I use the apps installed on my television. I know it was cheap; but within a year, it is borderline unusable. DO NOT BUY THIS TV. SPEND $100 MORE ON QUALITY.

||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this tv for a little under 2 years. Was always sluggish compared to my Samsung tv. Just went out today so I guess I’m buying a new tv. Would not recommend insignia.

Very upset
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV broke tonight...worked fine earlier today then suddenly, screen went black and no picture since. Checked all cords & outlets. and there’s only a 1yr warranty on it I realize...I’m out 400$ and didn’t even get 2 years out of the thing. Elite member! Very upset!

worst service ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was delivered a broken tv and have been waiting 48 for it to be solved. I have waited two days now from 7am-1pm and no one shows up. They keep hanging up on me and I have to wait over an hour to even talk to someone. We are all struggling right now but this is ridiculous.

Garbage
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this tv for about 6 months and it started acting up a couple of months ago. We thought it was the wifi. Nothing wrong there and now, another 2 months in and it wont open up the home screen much less any of our apps to watch anything at all.

Too many problems to count
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are known issues with the main board & streaming to watch tv. Needed repair within a month and the day after the repair, it was worse than before, at no fault of the repairman.

Broken after 1 year
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only had this tv for one year and it has already broken. When I turn on the tv I get a flash of the background and then a black screen. Not worth the money.

Great picture, easy to operate, does the job well
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ease of use seems to be the primary focus of this TV. We did set it up for non-cable box use. The initial set up was very easy. First the TV found our WiFi, I logged into it, then TV checked via internet for any updates, loaded and installed the updated software. Next a short tutorial of the key FIRE TV features was presented. Then logged in to the Amazon Prime account and all the previously selected choices were there waiting. The remote itself has four shortcut buttons for Prime Video, NetFlix, HBO and Vue, which helps with avoiding the need to go through the screen menu to get to one of the apps. Just a simple click and you’re there. Remote also has a video pause button which allows for a short stoppage of live TV. This stoppage duration can be extended up to one hour if you insert the USB stick with sufficient memory. Neat feature, no DVR needed to enjoy it.You can also change channels or apps by speaking to the remote. Though this TV is packaged as a FIRE TV, there is an cable input available if you want to watch the cable TV. There are also three HDMI inputs for other sources to attach, like a DVR or BlueRay. What I also greatly appreciate is that there is a standard headphones jack, so you can insert your headphones directly into the TV (which my other fancy and expensive TV does not offer). So overall, whether you’re buying it only for the streaming TV or a full blown traditional TV application, this TV can support both. Sound is very solid. Picture quality is great, colors and sharpness are nothing to complain about and they can be customized to your liking. Overall we’re happy with it. It does everything we wanted it to do in a seamless fashion and at the same time it does not break the bank. Good choice for us.

Lasted less than 3 years
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good while it lasted. It’s just under 3 years since I purchased this tv and the picture is gone. Paid less than $300 on sale but expected it to last longer than this. Definitely won’t buy an Insignia again.

Not a great buy
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually have good luck with Insignia TVs but this time I didn't. I bought this TV in 2019 and have experienced the dreaded back light failure. I get sound but the screen is black. Was told repair cost $150-$200.
