After less than 3 years, it doesn't turn on. Was totally fine before that, with no signs of failure.

Worked good for 2 years then just went to a black screen, tried to reset, unplugged from outlet and nothing would work. Customer service no help, just offered for technician to come out for repair estimate at my cost.

TV worked great until all of the sudden the picture went dark. Could hear sound but barely see image. In researching it appears to be the "backlight" went out. The TV was purchased May 2020, so it was not that old. Repair would cost almost as much as a new TV.

    15 months and dead

15 months and it dies? Great price, great picture til it went black. I worked for Bestbuy 20 years and even after being downsized out I still support them and their BB brand products. Utterly disappointed in this one though. Dies 3 months after warranty expires. FML.

Bought this TV as a backup option, but I’m glad I did. The built in Alexa is great, voice control is smooth and responsive. It’s seamless in switching between cable and streaming.

    I HATE THIS TV

We were replacing a Samsung plasma that was around ten years old and the picture was going out. We loved the Samsung but decided to give this Insignia a try. In the store none of the TVs are hooked up to an actual picture. They’re all basically HD screensavers and it’s hard to know what picture you’re actually going to get. We thought, “How bad could this off brand be? Surely Insignia has come a long way. And the reviews are good.” The picture on this TV is not crisp. When we stream Netflix, anywhere there is black on the picture you can see the individual pixels. It’s like looking at a MARIO video game from the 80s. We took too long to decide what to do so it’s past the return time frame at BB, and Insignia customer service was no help. Only Samsung for me from now on.

I had a 50in Hisense 50H6C 4k TV that was just the best TV. The standard setting out of the box was perfect and had really accurate colors. Blacks were great. Never had to fiddle with the settings. I only paid $319 for it. But after two years I wanted to upgrade to something bigger so I sold it on Craigslist for $200. Big mistake. For the life of me I can't get a good picture out of this TV. I can get something that looks good in the daytime but will look terrible at night. Bright scenes and commercials can look decent but anything with dark scenes are terrible, lots of pixelation. I've tried every setting I possibly can but can never be satisfied. Blacks are terrible. Colors are inaccurate. HDR videos have a cloudy haze to them. This is not how HDR is done. The other TV I bought before this had much better HDR but it had HDMI problems. This will be the second TV I'm returning now. Guess I'm going to have to spend some more money to get something halfway decent. I had problems with this TV from the start. First it didn't like my router. Took an hour for the first initial update, Was constantly disconnecting. I did numerous factory resets and then I noticed a small TV update that made it look a little better and seemed to fix the internet issue. Big time glare issues in bright rooms. This thing has a viewing angle of about 30 degrees max before it starts washing out. The only pro about this TV is the guide. Ingenious having antenna and pluto in one guide. Apps loaded quickly. One time the TV just blacked out on me and I had to unplug it pray for it to restart. I wouldn't trust this TV lasting more than a year. This TV gives me the overall feeling of a Westinghouse. I've never had such a problem finding the right TV
