Wonderful large screen budget TV

I don't expect much from budget priced large screen TV's but this 55" Insignia with Amazon Fire built in well exceeded what I was looking for. The TV boots up quickly and navigation is identical to an Amazon Fire TV Stick. This was an upgrade to a 9 year old 42" LCD TV so you can imagine my vantage point. Regardless, this is a great TV for the money.

We’ve had the TV for the three months and the only issue so far is when the TV is awake from sleep mode, the volume cannot be controlled via the remote control. It must be unplugged and reset before all the remote control features will work.

Insignia continues to prove its worth!

Everyone was passing this up for the early Black Friday deals on Samsung, LG, and Sony units. However, this was a steal! Insignia continues to deliver with the quality and dependability on their products. My previous tv was a 42" Insignia I purchased back in 2010. It is still going strong so I definitely had to go with Insignia again. I recommend checking out their tvs!

Lovin my new TV

I think Amazon's Fire TV is the best streaming experience - and having it built in to the TV is the best. You can run the 4K demos you see in the stores - from all TV manufacturers - on Youtube and they are all simply stunning on this baby. I bought the extended warranty. I highly recommend this TV. I was so impressed with the first one that I bought a similar 41" version for another room =]
