Solid TV

The Fire TV features are a little more restrictive than I am used to coming from a Samsung. It doesn't integrate well with my phone. I can't cast easily (there are work-arounds, but they aren't as good). And my Fire gaming controller doesn't work with this version of the OS. All in all, it is a good TV for a great price.

Excellent "budget" model 4K UHD TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My last TV purchase was an Insignia brand HDTV over 10 years ago and it was still alive and well when I upgraded to this set. The upgrade was well worth it and I am very happy with my purchase! Living in an apartment, I can't have a big sound system to go along with the TV, and while the TV does produce good, clear sound, a soundbar to go along with this TV and amp up my 4K Blu-ray watching may be in my future.

Great TV with amazing features

The built in Fire TV is really good, but the lack of a youtube app is my one down vote. I wish Google and Amazon would just get along. So, far all the apps work flawless and the response has been great to commands. The built in Alexa has made finding shows a super fast. Finally, this tv is so light its simply amazing.

But I feel this is one of the best purchases I've done. Starting with the great visuals you get, specially using the apps, to the clarity it gives you even when used with my computer to play games. World of Warcraft on this is way more epic than it could ever be. But any game, is just as large as life. And the price was just ridiculous for a 55".

The integrated TV Guide is amazing as it integrates our OTA with our streaming service Philo. It also allows you to pause, rewind, and fast forward the antenna signal somehow. It does not last very long as it must have some kind of temp cache that is stores the data in. Excellent Picture and Sound quality The 4K movies look AMAZING on it! Highly recommended!

LOVE the Fire TV's with Alexa

Alexa, turn on Fire TV. Alexa, tune to channel 8.1. Alexa, Fire TV volume 5. Great picture, all the apps you can ever use. Has really good sound and the speakers don't sound cheap. Can connect to my surround sound by bluetoooth. I mean, it does everything I ever wanted a TV to do and more.

I have enjoyed the slim design and the overall sound quality so far. The only issue that I did encounter was two of HDMI ports stopped working. Luckily I purchased the Geek Squad 5 year protection plan. The fix was to replace the HDMI board and I was back up and running.

Awesome Best Buy Experience!

Not only did it satisfy his gaming requirements, but he's in love with his voice controlled remote! He told me that the sound is so good that he has not hooked up his soundbar yet... I love that we could shop for a tv together (from two different states!) and that delivery from his local Best Buy was FREE!

They are mostly used for kids video games, so I can’t really read all of the different streaming options and there is of use, but a big screen TV that makes Xbox and PS4 consoles look fantastic at this price will get five stars for me every time
