The television has great color definitions with the 4K feature. It was a great value for the urgent need for a replacement television under my warranty coverage, definitely best decision made with no regrets..

Best Buy has wonderful customer service & delivery so far. However this is the "2nd" 58 inch Insignia Fire TV with in two weeks thas started flicking green flashes every few minutes. Sincerely frustrated, as this TV s much to HUGE to be moving in/out a security apartment building...Ugh, Mark my words, this will be on a NOT very generous $150-175 Get it out the door, Black Friday sale....WARNING Purchase the 5yr warranty lol God bless!!

This TV was an unexpected purchase since our TV of 10 years died. I wanted the fire TV because we stream and we are so pleased with the 4k picture sharpness and the overall quality. We bought the 58 inch and set up was so easy. We decided to buy the Insignia sound bar as well and have a quality system for a great price. A win win for us!

I have an Apple TV connected (via Sony Receiver) to this Insignia TV, and I absolutely love the fact I can turn everything on with the Apple remote. The TV powers up very fast into Amazon's FireTV home screen initially and then switches to Apple TV via the HDMI input fairly quickly. I was worried I'd have to get used to using two remotes including the button presses to switch the inputs every time I wanted to power things up. I do like the fact it has FireTV built-in as well because we use that on another Insignia TV in the house and it runs very nicely on this TV.
The picture is bright and crisp. This TV was a step up in size from the Samsung TV we had that died after 9 or so years (50" to a 58") and I'm loving the bigger/better picture!
I can't really talk about the speakers since I immediately configured the TV to disable them. As noted I have a Sony receiver and speakers for sound. I expect the built-in speakers are fairly average as TV speakers usually are in modern flat-panel displays. I gave "Sound Quality" 5 stars because it didn't seem fair to rate something low that I didn't actually test.
Oh, and the price was amazing -- about $300.

ok this was an open box saved 20bucks works like it is supposed too. here is my one issue. I have now 2 insigna fire tvs in my living room since I no longer have DVR have to see it when its on pretty much ..well the 2 tvs remotes are garbage meaning try and turn 1 tv on or off and both react. the 58 keeps getting turned on and then off.. no help from geek squad a tv guy on-line said these are cheap TV's and not much went into the remotes duhh.. I have low teck small cardboard that I cover up the senser on the 58.. also waiting on a BLUETOOTH remote fingers crossed it seems that the main issue is the ON and OFF other functions work properly .. so ?????? great picture how long these cheapies last?? hopefully til they are paid off at least

I bought this TV to replace a previous Insignia TV that had sound problems. The picture and sound are excellent, particularly for what the set cost. What I got for a remote is the current minimalist remote with few buttons, no markings and less control over the set than I had previously. I cannot sync it with my ATT Uverse remote. I cannot sync it with the 3 function Insignia remote I bought to replace the included remote. Both my wife and I have vision problems, and the cheap remotes that come with Insignia sets today create usability problems. So my rating for the TV is really a 5, and my rating of the remote and its capabilities is minus 1; total 4.

The value for this size tv cannot be beat. Picture looks great and sound quality is better than I expected. I am beginning to like the Insignia brand more and more. This is my 4th Insignia brand purchase and every product I bought is still going strong. If you’re value conscious and don’t care about having the best high end brand with the high end price the Insignia product lines can’t be beat for value and quality.

We have had it for a couple of months and no problem so far. Best Buy made it easy.

Don’t be frustrated if you don’t like the Fire TV feature. When you set up the TV, just make sure you chose the basic experience. Then there’s an option to have your TV turn off and off in the same input. Also, make sure you don’t connect your TV to the WiFi if you don’t want the Fire TV feature. Once I figured that out I was able to set up my Roku stick and absolutely love the quality of the TV. Great value!
