I found this cap at the Best Buy store and feel that this cap is more secure than the original. It has a nice spring loaded clamp that locks onto the lens.

Better than OEM

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The cap Canon provided kept falling off and finally arriving in its final resting place between monorail tracks at Disney. Had to get a new cap in a pinch. This cap was inexpensive and is sturdier and more reliable than what Canon gives you. Great product!
