It has never failed. I put my S6 on at night and forget it. I do not have to be woken up by flashing light telling me it's not charge like on the round charger.

It also works with the Motorola Droid Turbo but charges slowly as well. It's fine for just setting your phone down to get more juice but it may not charge your phone as fast as the charger that came with it.

She does not even bother to use it. Pad too small, cord too short. Just feels inexpensive, which it was. Sometimes you get what you pay for and I got this for deal of the day.

The only downside is that with a Galaxy Note 5 and a Galaxy S6 it is very positional -- I usually have to move it around for 30 second or more before it starts charging. But, at least it has a blue light to indicate when it is working.
