It is a simple cable but having the adapter built into it makes my life easier. I rarely need to charge two different things at the same time. This helps me reduce cable clutter.

Good but it's an eye sore...
What it gains in durability (braided) and versatility (2-in-1), it lacks in ergonomics. It's too bulky and long to leave it around the dash.

Not good for the car

[Employee of bestbuy] Maybe it’s fine when stationary not sure, but we bought this because my partner has an iPhone 13 but I have a 16 so we thought it would be nice to have a switchable cable for wired CarPlay. The USB C works fine, but the lightning “adapter” attached has trouble staying connected, at least in a moving car. It’s also far too long for this use case. It got returned. Insignia - if you’re reading this it would be great if you made a version that was both shorter and more durable
