The cable on the included controller is only long enough to sit on the floor in front of the TV. Get the extension and move on back.

These extenders work fine on the NES Classic. However, the problem is they come with wii strap like connectors that makes it impossible to plug two in at the same time. However, you can use a screwdriver to remove those and everything works great.

this is a must. the remote controller lenght is too short. this extension sets you back far enough where you can play comfortably

This actually makes the NES classic useable. I'm not sure why Nintendo kept the cords so short, but this fixes their blunder nicely.

I can't believe Nintendo only makes a remote with 3 feet of wire. Very bad, and it forces you to buy the extension or go wireless.

Many of the controllers that ship with systems such as the NES Classic are very short. This item is perfect for an extra 6" of cable.

i ended up having to buy two extensions per controller as one was still too short for me. also had to remove the plastic clip so that two controllers could be plugged in at once. not ideal but still a must have item for the nes classic!

The extension cord for the NES Classic controller is a must have item if you don't want to sit two feet away from the unit.

The NES Classic controller cables are incredibly short, which is odd considering the original controllers had much longer cables. If you don't have a Wii controller extension cable left laying around go ahead and grab one of these.

Anyone that is lucky enough to have an NES classic needs one of these. The controller cables are shorter than a phone charger.

Very useful because the system comes with a very short cord and if you have a big screen you will be sitting up too close.

Bought the NES Classic, but the cord for controller is TOO short! I recommend either this or a wireless controller! I ended up buying both! The extended cord for one controller and a wireless controller to use for a second player.

Since the nes joystick cords are so short, this was a big help. It was less expensive to buy these than another joystick

Able to sit back and relax playing the games. Extention gave me more space. Without it you are to close to the TV screen.

This is necessary to thoroughly enjoy the NES Classic. Otherwise your eyes might go bad from sitting too close to the tv
