    It will make your remote 9ft total, so depends on if that length is sufficient for you or not (it barely is for me, but i bought the wireless controller as my primary). I think you are better off spending extra $5 for wireless controller vs $10 on an extension cord. But its a preference

    This cord is definitely needed so that you aren't sitting directly in front of the tv when you are playing the console.

    The cord adds perfect distance from the TV. The only issue is that the Wii Remote wrist strap clip covers the 2nd NES controller port on the console. It looks like with a certain size screwdriver you can take it off though.

    6' lets me not be so close to the console. Removed the 2 screw to take out the plastic piece for 2 controllers.
