They were not cheap either. Returned them. In the end had to buy monster brand hdmi cables with display port adapters . That worked great.

I went down that route and the adapters don't work! It's a higher price for the cable but for good reason! I bought a EVGA RTX 2080 Ti and my monitors are older. They only use HDMI or DVI and unfortunately the GPU only had one port for HDMI. So I needed a cable that could convert the single from my monitor which was HDMI to Display Port. This cable worked without a hitch! Save yourself the aggravation to return a "cheaper" adapter that doesn't convert the video signal at all and just shell out for this cable! You'll thank me later!
