The other monitor in my dual display with connected via VGA does not seem to have this problem.

My computer wouldn't work without it.

After talking with Geek Squad, I had to return to Best Buy with my computer and monitor only to find my current cord was no longer working due to something inside the tower. My only option was getting the new cord. When I went home, the computer worked.
