When buying stuff like cables at Best Buy, you're paying for the convenience of having something available right now. It's a perfectly good cable, but you can definitely find less expensive options if you plan a bit more in advance.

This is a great solution for laptops with HDMI output. I've been using it with my dell monitor for about a year now and haven't had any issues.

having the hdmi cable makes the viewing experience better. i had a 10% off birthday coupon that i couldn't use, bummer . instead of telling me what i can't buy with it, why don't you just tell me what i can buy . the list would be a lot shorter

Excellent cable that allows me to connect a monitor to my pc. Setup was seamless and the quality is excellent.

I upgraded my significant other's DVD player to Blu-ray recently and noticed when attempting to connect it to her TV, the TV did not have a HDMI input. It is a projection television and is at least 10yrs old, but at least it had a DVI input. I knew Best Buy carried HDMI to DVI cables, so I went in and purchased one. Their 6' cable was reasonably priced so I bought it. Best Buy always seems to have what I need and has helped me (once again) find a solution for a home electronics problem.
