This isn't easy to tell from the packaging. Save your money and buy the dual from Amazon for way less

I bought it to connect a Macbook with USB C to an adaptor and dell monitor. Either the cable or adaptor from Apple is faulty cause the external monitor constantly goes black before coming back on.
