HMDI to DVI cable to get the job done

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Getting a new video cable isn't very sexy, but when a video adapter fails and your second monitor no longer works, a quality cable suddenly matters a lot. The Insignia cable is a bit pricey for "just a cable" and the DVI connector may seem a bit short compared to competing brands. However, the cable is well built and the short DVI connector is actually an advantage; it doesn't stick out and when nicely screwed tight to the monitor's port. After a wild goose hunt for faulty drivers, video card device failures etc, I replaced the adapter by this Insignia cable. It brought my second back to life again.

Luckily the graphics card supported this cable. The cable had a good feel to it. The price was higher than I expected.
