It works great! I learned several years ago the key is to be sure you have correct DVI pin configuration :) There are quite a few.

It didn't work very well on a Samsung monitor. The screen would get stuck on a static "snow" screen for 30-60 seconds before the desktop screen would pop up after sleep mode. I changed out to a Dell monitor and it works perfect now.

It works great for connecting my hp monitor to my computer. Although I wish the associates would have told me I needed this adapter for before I purchased my computer.

Have been using this as part of my dual monitor setup for work with some older monitors and it's working great. Very limited lag as well.

Used to connect a Xbox One to a LCD computer monitor to have a second Xbox in the house. With new controllers, you can use headset through controller for sound. It did the trick!

I was skeptical at first. After all, Insignia is a generic brand. However, it gives a very good signal. It does what it is supposed to do with no issues.

My computer lacks HDMI output, so I needed this cable to connect a mew HD monitor. Unfortunately, my DVI connection does not support sound either.

The cable worked out great and was just long enough but I didn't need it since the new computer had a dvi port in it!
