Cheap and works

I purchased an external monitor for my laptop which had mini DisplayPort and thunderbolt 3, I went looking for either and found this one and it was cheaper than the thunderbolt 3 too. I wanted to use the UHD option in Windows 10 and got it working so this cable supports all the specifications required for that.

In general, cables are notoriously over priced, especially for any digital signals (briefly, a cable will either correctly pass 100% of a digital signal, or it won’t...so cable “quality” doesn’t matter).

It did not work. I returned it and purchased a display port to display port cable at Best Buy On Line. That cable worked. I attribute the cable failure to previous purchaser and that is probably why it was returned.
