I have been through many shredders. At first use, I can tell that this one was heavy duty. So far, so good. I have purchased other Insignia products from Best But, and I have never been let down. I definitely recommend this shredder.

This shredder gets the job done but I hesitate to say it can easily cut through 10 pieces of paper. It seemed to slow down when I tried to feed 6 in.

This unit is perfect for single family usage. It works wonderfully on envelopes for credit card offers and the such. The cross-cut allows for added security. Definitely worth the money invested.

I like that it is black and hides nicely under the desk. It shreds credit cards much better than my old one. It handles whole credit app junk mail envelopes without having to open then up to shred!!

Husband purchased for home use. If you have a large amount to shred,it can overheat. Does well shredding cards.

Replaced an older shredder with this one which cuts the paper better than the old one did and doesn't jam as much as the old one did.

I needed a small shredder to eliminate the junk mail I receive daily; this unit does the job, albeit it is a bit loud but what shredder under 100 bucks isn't.

It's a no frills shredder that gets the job done. My only complaint is that it overheats quick. Cool down time is average. Overall a solid pickup.

Great Little shredder eats up the paper in No time and goes right down. It's smaller then the one I had before but, is all I need out of a Shredder.

Bought this to remove junk pile of old papers and it works very well! No paper jams! Paper is easy to dispose of and this machine is easy to use.

Great results for the price. This is a solidly built shredder that can handle more than its share of paper (10 sheets at a time, I think?), and can easily shred CDs and credit cards. For a portable model designed for home use, it really stands out.

I definitely can't complain based on the price paid, it does the job for me. If I wanted something more heavy duty, I would have bought another one.

Compact size, durable, shreds easily. I have not heard it struggle like my last shredder. Seems to be very solid and built well and works well.

This shredder does shred down items to the point where if thieves do try to go through your trash and steal your shredded important documents... they will need to be a genius to put them back together to learn your information.

This shredder seems promising. I am on my third one from the brand, but different model. So far i can tell it will last longer than the others.

Just needed a new shredder to avoid throwing sensitive info into the trash..... turns out this one can shred old credit cards too which is nice. Haven't tried running a cd through it yet but that does sound kinda fun

I bought this one on sale but it turns out to be a little cheap on performance. It can handle a lite load of shredding but it you planning to do a lot once think again. It overheated a few times and a simple 5 minute job took about 20 minutes. I would caution on buying if you need a lot of shredding done at once to be spread out.

Seems to work fine even though a little slow to start feeding paper. Handles multiple sheets fine. No jams so far but is used for home not office.
