I purchased the Insignia™ - 10-Sheet Crosscut Shredder - Gray to replace my old shredder which finally quit working. I am pleased with the Insignia shredder. It shreds credit cards and cds as well as paper.

This is perfect for someone who doesn’t shred often. It can handle about five sheets at a time, and a credit card.

Great little shredder, perfect for small office spaces where you don't have a lot of room. Can handle several sheets at a time and does okay with CC shredding.

It's pretty handy for the usual credit cards and letters. If you do large bundles at a time it will overheat. It cools down pretty quickly though

Be careful when shredding large amounts of papers as it can easily cause it to overheat and you won't be able to use it for 12-24 hrs.

It works well, which can shred papers and plastic cards. It's useful to me.

Unit works well. Tested a credit card with chip and the shredder chopped it up easily. 10 pages regular paper also shredded nicely. Still chops is couple inch strips but alot of side chop in there too.

Really good for shredding my papers that I don’t need anymore. It needs to shred just a little smaller though

It can't handle too many pages at the same time, but feed it a few pages at a time and it works smoothly

Does what it is supposed to do and nothing more. I have not tested how many sheets at once it will take but it handles 1 at a time fine

Very nice machine. Does credit cards nicely. Only complaint is it is not for high capacity. Good for home use only.

Works good for the price. Shreds slow over 3 pieces of paper at once. Overheats and shuts off if used too long.

I love it. That only thing is that it is very noisy, and I don’t like that.

This is a basic cross-cut shredder that does its job. I used to go to a few office supply stores to shred all my junk mails once a year. However, this is really good and it does its job.

Have had for almost two years..no problems. Easily handles 10-12 sheets at a time. If you do a lot of shredding you will be emptying the smaller size bin frequently.

Wow cheap shredder but amazing shredder shreds everything even my dignity bc I cannot afford anything nicer but this gets the job done.

I needed a shredder to get rid of bills and some personal papers but wanted a shredder that wasn't too expensive and didn't burn out. I've had a few weeks to test this now and I think it was a good choice. As long as you are not continuously shredding several pieces of paper back to back to back, it's a decent shredder under $50 good for occasional use. Would I buy this again? I'm indifferent--I may buy this one or buy another one.

Nice I throw all that I don't need in the muchine and cuts great shreds the paper good

When I was looking for a paper shredder for my needs, I did not want to break the bank or take up tons of space in my home office. Furthermore, having little kids, I did not want one sitting on the floor where they could stick their hands in it. I found this one while standing in line to check out and loved the price. I also loved the fact that I could put this on my desk with out it taking up tons of room. Does a great job cutting through the maximum amount of paper it says it can, 6, and shreds unwanted cards with no problem.
