We bought this to replace our old shredder which we had for a long time I love this one it shreds more sheets of paper and doesn’t get stuck like the old one

Be careful when shredding large amounts of papers as it can easily cause it to overheat and you won't be able to use it for 12-24 hrs.

Unit works well. Tested a credit card with chip and the shredder chopped it up easily. 10 pages regular paper also shredded nicely. Still chops is couple inch strips but alot of side chop in there too.

It's pretty handy for the usual credit cards and letters. If you do large bundles at a time it will overheat. It cools down pretty quickly though

We got this shredder only for personal use, mainly to shred household documents instead if tossing them in the garnage. Although it says you ca stack up to 6 sheets at a time, I only put 3 or 4. It overheats after 5 loads max. We haven’t used it since we realozed how easy it overheats. Unless you have one document every now and then, look for something better.

Does what it is supposed to do and nothing more. I have not tested how many sheets at once it will take but it handles 1 at a time fine

Work fine. Small enough to fit out of the way, but big enough to work well for all shredding jobs.

I really like this shredder and it fits discreetly in a corner in my home office. This shredder is easy to use and seem to be very durable and reliable.

Perfect for my needs. It is a bit noisy, but it's only used for one or two items at a time.

This is the second Insignia that I have purchased. The 1st one lasted so long that I forget when I bought it. It's quiet and efficient. The price was also reasonable.

Works fine when shredding five or six pages. Shreds in small pieces so papers are secure.

It can't handle too many pages at the same time, but feed it a few pages at a time and it works smoothly

This shredder works very well. Have had no problem shredding multiple pages, but is a little heavy for its size.

The motor is abit loud. The shredding is good. Size is appropriate for a small office.

This shredder works well and cuts good. But do not over load the machine, it will stop cutting.

I needed a shredder to get rid of bills and some personal papers but wanted a shredder that wasn't too expensive and didn't burn out. I've had a few weeks to test this now and I think it was a good choice. As long as you are not continuously shredding several pieces of paper back to back to back, it's a decent shredder under $50 good for occasional use. Would I buy this again? I'm indifferent--I may buy this one or buy another one.
