The shredder works great. It does what it is supposed to do. The negative aspect of buying an open box from Best Buy is that they may not check the item. The item I received had shredded paper in it.

It does the job. Not the fastest but it works for general home use

Bought this shredder for our home to take care of mail and paper with private information. It works without a problem up to 6 sheets on rare occasions. No issues in one month of use.

Even though it's a bit loud, it gets the job done. I suppose it's no louder than other shredders, but I feel Insignia could have designed it a little quieter.

Not a bad shredder for the price, the basket is a little small and fills up quickly but for 20 buck is a great deal.

This is my 3rd shredder and so far it is as good as others I paid more for at the time. I am pleased with the great price for what I feel is a necessary item in every home office.

Works well for short time and small amounts of paper. Do not over load it and you'll be happy. Also cuts credit cards and cds.

It's the perfect size shredder. It's says you can shred 6 papers at a time, I've never tried it but I don't recommend doing it. Works great. I've had it for almost a year and use it a few times a month.

Good little unit for everyday shredding of an item or two. If you want to do any sort of bulk shredding it will quickly overheat and get overwhelmed. For the price I wish I would’ve spent a little more for something with more cutting power. Overall it’s a good unit for the money as long as you keep your expectations low in terms of how much volume it can handle.

Works good. It gets too hot and you need to let it rest after about 10 min. of continuous use. For my personal household needs it works fine.

I love my new shredder. It works a lot faster/better than my old one. The young man who waited on me was very knowledgeable about the product and checked the computer to see if it was still on sale, and it was.

Bought this shredder as it would do paper, credit cards, and CDs. I shredded a bunch of old CDs with no issues at all - worked great and much cheaper than other shredders that had CD capability.
