We needed a shredder to shred our monthly bills and credit card offers. This does the job. It will overheat after a short period of time.

qood quality product. Works great. Try to find a deal. Cuts 6 sheets without any effort. But still i put 1 sheet at a time, so that it doesn't stress.

I got this shredder to help me clear papers that need to be filed. I have greatly reduced my pile because I just shredded a pile of paper that I didn't know what to do with

I previously had an Insignia '6' sheet shredder and was unhappy with it. I decided to upgrade to this 10 sheet shredder and like it very much. Huge difference for only a few dollars more.

Even though it's a bit loud, it gets the job done. I suppose it's no louder than other shredders, but I feel Insignia could have designed it a little quieter.

I don't need a commercial version. I just want to clean up personal financial papers. I never put more than 6 pages in at a time because I want to take care of the machine. My new shredder works perfectly

Great shredder. Turns the papers into little chips about three quarters of an inch in length. Good Luck trying to piece that back together! Works well with heavy loads and no problem shredding credit cards DVDs, CDs etc.

I reviewed several shredders prior to purchasing. This shredder can handle credit cards and all the junk mail I feed it.

Shredder is working well so far, not too loud but also not the most quiet.

I had been considering a home use shredder for a while. When this one came on sale I looked at it online and in the store that same afternoon. It is working well for me at home.

We needed a shredder to use at home. After we checked them out at Best buy. We decided on this one. It works great for us.

The only problem I had was that after about an hour of constant shredding, the overheated light came on. I let it rest overnight and the next day it was fine.

So far, the shredder is pretty solid. No issues whatsoever. I'm careful not to exceed the 10 sheet capacity. I did shred one credit card and that went through without an issue. Pleased so far.

This small machine work just as what I expected. It's easy to assemble/clean. I use it for destroying letters with personal information and several gift cards and do not experience any hassle.

Good if you don't have a lot of papers to shred at one time. Heats up if you do.

I think a review after a year of use is indicative of performance. This shredder met my expectations and continues to do so after a year of daily home-office use. What more needs to be said? Its a good solid product!
