I would not insert more than 4 sheets at a time. Quite loud, but cant complain for $19

Excellent for home use. Wish it was diamond cut but you get what you pay for. Quiet and easy to use

I like this shredder. It gets the job done and does what I need it to do. I like the fact that it cross shreds so that the paper comes out in smaller pieces

Works great since I only shred about 10 pages per day on avg. Nothing fancy, does what it's suppose to do and can't go wrong with this one.

This is a great shredder with a great price. It shreds up to six sheets at one time with no issues, and the cross cut reduces the size of scrap and increases privacy.

It does what it should but a bit louder than my last one.

The shredder is well built, and conveniently sized for home use. The recessed handle is a welcome addition for removing and installing the motor unit to and from the waste receptacle. The motor bogs down noticeably when shredding 4 or 5 sheets of paper, so I doubt the claimed 10-sheet capacity, but the weight of the paper plays a role in this. I absolutely hate the feed slot as it has been designed to prevent entry by and injury to a wide assortment of body appendages. This makes inserting paper a fiddly affair to get it introduced in the exact orientation for the cutters to grab it. When shredding a large amount of material, the motor is always stopping and starting while you struggle to get the next bunch of paper fed into the slot properly and quickly. It would have been nice if the motor would have been programmed to run for another second or two before shutting off.

Definitely would recommend... In fact, this is my second one that I purchased within the past year. A family member saw the original one, & loved it!

Not a real heavy duty shredder but for small amounts it’s perfect!!

Insignia 6 sheet cross shredder is good shredder. Haven't had problem with it over hearing. Shreds multi papers pretty good. Overall we happy with purchase.
