Just what I need, for me works perfect. I highly recommend this product for home use. For office use, get the big one.

It is very nice to use. I just plug it in, turn the switch to on and insert the papers to shred. There is no mess and I just empty the container.

I bought this for my grandmother for mother's day and she really love it.....didn't take long to teach her how to use it and its just the right size and weight for her.

Does a solid job. Can get stuck even with fewer than maximum pages but does the job well.

the first one I bought broke in a month Best Buy replaced it and the 2nd has been working for over a year. great product great service from Best Buy

One of the best one. The only thing I disliked was that it overheats when you use it for a decent amount of time.

Strong motor, shreds paper very fast and motor does not sound stress you you max paper count. Sturdy, heavy, quiet. Overall great value.

Used it to do a high volume shred job. Did a fairly good job shredding mail. After awhile it started to over heat. Would not recommend putting 6 pieces of paper thru at one time. Very poor job shredding credit card. Did not shred the card. Looked like the card had been run over a couple times by a car.

this is a good quality shredder, it even does credit cards. i’ve had it awhile now, i’ve done stacks& stacks of papers

I bought this machine to shred about ten bags of paper work and it did the job with no issues and still working smoothly.

Never has the shredder jammed. I like that it cuts both ways into little squares, and not just long strips. Best one yet!!

Between this and the other Insigna Shredder at Best Buy, I’m glad with what I chose. It was cheaper than the other one and I didnt mind that it doesn’t have wheels or a separate disc shredder slot. Despite other reviews I don’t think it’s too noisy. The only thing I could think of that needs improvement for this product is the top part is really heavy. When I lift the top part to empty out the basket, I have to maneuver it a little to get it out. Otherwise I’m really happy with it, and it meets my needs perfectly.

Given its used sporadically and never for difficult task its a good price of equipment for the money.

I like this as it is compact but still holds a lot of shredded paper. I have used it to shred documents, credit cards and even left over checks and deposit slips from closing a bank account. It shreds quite a few "pages" without jamming and does it quickly. It is the best one I have ever owned so far. It is well made, I like the see thru window so you can see how full it is getting, I expect it to last a long time.
