Too many jams and overheated too much.

I have a smaller shredder and purchased this one to handle bigger pages. Both shredders are cross cut but the other one hardly ever gets jammed and shreds into smaller pieces. This shredder overheated frequently and didn't shred as well as my smaller shredder. I was constantly stopping to either clear a jam or wait for it to cool down. I don't have these problems with my older, smaller shredder. This also says it will accommodate 6 pages at a time. It would definitely slow down with 6 pages. I started reducing the amount of pages just to get the job done.

Best buy for the price

I knew I wanted a multi-sheet shredder, after that I wanted the lowest price. I compared prices at several stores, Costco, Office Depot, Target. The shredder at Best Buy had all of the features I required for home use and was twenty dollars cheaper.

I have had it for a couple months now and have had no issues. Just make sure not to put too may sheets of paper in at once. It could jam. I had a larger one that my wife put in to many sheets and the machine broke.
