Great Shredder So Far

This one is working great, but I haven't used it extensively yet. I'm happy with how it's working.

Good value for the power

The small final shred size is great to enable more secure recycling of your paper. It seems to strain a bit on CDs and the "10 sheet" feature, but I don't mind shredding less than 10 sheets at a time to possibly increase it's lifetime. It also accepts 8.5" wide sheets, which some shredders in the price range don't. All-in-all, very glad I researched and purchased this brand and model.

I had a crosscut shredder before and it cut into small pieces. This one seems to make straight pieces that are smaller than a regular shredder but are still kind of big/long--they don't really seem to be cross cut. It also gets noisier when you shred multiple sheets and it shreds more slowly then as well. Not even going to try shredding 6 sheets at once. Plus there's a smell like it's burning at times-even when shredding for under 3 minutes.
