I can shred plastic, paper AND CD's! It's the best price by comparison to many others out there that do the same thing, but for way more money! We've used it regularly, and it still keeps going like a champ!

Extremely HEAVY!

It struggles a bit to shred the 10 sheets it claims, however with some patience guiding it through the quirky angular slot it does a pretty good job. All of the components are in the top half that needs to be lifted completely off the bin to empty - so it is quite top heavy and requires agility and skill hanging on to the very heavy top and lifting it off the very lightweight container, even with the handle. A bit messy too. This was not something I wanted to deal with. A model with a pull-out bin is more functional for me.
