I bought this shredder because I went cheap and got one that couldn't shred more than a couple of pieces of paper at a time. This one can handle much more and doesn't jam. I highly recommend this product for a home office or personal use.

One of the best cross shredders I purchased. Easy to install and is able to shred 6 sheets at a time in addition to credit cards. Love the size and it fits well under my office table.

This is ok for light duty but I think 6 sheets max is really pushing this shredder. I have another 6-sheet shredder and it does a better job. This shredder sounds and feels less powerful than my other 6-sheet shredder. Pros? It shreds crosscut nicely and has a great sleek design with nice window. It says like 3 minute run time and 30 minute cooling. I have never waited 30 minutes to cool before so that is a pro. Cons? It gets clogged more often than my other 6-sheet shredder. I usually stick with 2-5 sheets at a time too but I still have to take needle nose pliers at times to pull out jammed pieces in the blades. Also it overheats more often than my other 6-sheet shredder but this happens when you are trying to do 2 or more basket fulls at a time. Here is a tip.... It will fill the basket up once without overheating. Once you fill it up, empty your basket and turn it off for a little a while before shredding again. If you cool it down after 1 basket full, it won't overheat. If I have lots of important documents to shred, I have 2 shredders side by side with each other and I switch back and forth with the shredding jobs between the two so it keeps them from overheating.

Compared several brands before buying this shredder. Selected this model for its price for the offered features. I am satisfied. Does a good job compared to pricier brands.

I needed a shredder so I looked for the cheapest one i could find that looked decent. It was on sale and it does its job fine. Good item for a good price.

I wanted to give it a good test so,I went home and shredded a lot of credit offers in the envelope they came in. No problem. It just chewed them up. very pleased with the perfornaace. Over all I feel it was worth price and I will recommened it to friends.

I purchased this computer for my daughter who will use it for web surfing and email. The computer is lightweight, easy to set-up, and takes up little space on her desk.

The price was fantastic, It shreds rapidly and I feel much safer throwing out anything with a bar code and even better yet disposing of old credit cards. I would recommend this product to anyone for home use, and picked one up for my adult children too !

Nice shredder for the price. It’s been great for my use. Does the job. No complaints. For my not so heavy usage, this is sufficient compared to expensive ones.

not much to say but it does the job. this is for someone that would like to shred some mail. I only do like 3 papers at a time but I've done 6. it doesn't sound so good but it does the job. lol

i had been looking for a shredder and found this one as a deal of the day! i snatched it up and when i got it, it was even batter than i hope for. it is compact and even has a credit card shredder. great for the price even if its not on sale.

Sweet cross shredder for home use. Shreds paper and credit cards. We run a lubricating sheet through the shredder once a month to keep it humming along. We purchased an open box unit and couldn't be happier.

Does what it says it will. No problem. Haven't sat andshredded for 30 minutes to see if it overheats and stops. Anybody that does should buy a heavy duty model.. This is great for regular home use. Shreds to small pieces and was a good price.

Purchased on 4/16/2020 to venture on ridding myself of stored paperwork, didn’t realize how much I had. The Insignia Crosscut Shredder is so easy to use and shred up to 6 sheets easily. Small but powerful!

very good shredder, but needs a lot of breaks while you work on files and files you need to shred - credit card shredding is a plus :)

This little unit exceeded all my expectations. So far it has not let me down. Compact size allows me to place it under my desk. I use this for occasional shredding of sensitive docs. Maybe 10 to 20 pages a month.

Found this on sale. It chews through 10 sheets of paper and it'll even take care of shredding 1 credit card at a time. I don't do a lot of shredding but when I do, this one does the job.

I have been using this product for almost six months now and am amazed at its capability, durability, and ease of use. It shreds staples with ease and even destroys credit cards too! I love the reverse function however have no had to use it yet because have had absolutely no problems with paper jams. It is definitely worth the price for have owned cheaper shredders that do not last You definitely get what you paid for and more with this one! I highly recommend it!

This is the best shredder I've ever owned! It holds a large amount of shreddings. The shredder/motor piece is very heavy and durable. I was a little nervous about getting a cross cut, as I always had a straight cut style. I have no regrets!

This is the best shredder I've purchased. I really like the way it shreds up to 10 sheets and it shreds cards. It's fast and a great size. Wonderful purchase!
