First time using a shredder. This one does the job at a great price and doesn't take up much space. (Just remember to get lubricant sheets if doing a heavy load).

We needed to replace our old shredder and after looking around settled on this shredder from Insignia. Really does a good job. Have done typical document shredding and have shredded a few credit cards there as well. Working great so far.

I bought this shredder to replace an older one that overheated constantly. This one is perfect. I can shred for a long time without it overheating. Very easy to use.

Works smoothly, and I love the handle that lets me lift the device from the receptacle to empty it! I was also able to line the can with a plastic bag so the shredder is easy to empty and keep clean. Good value at a reasonable price.

The shredder works perfect but don’t expect to shred more than 7pgs at a time. I gave it 4 stars because in the description it said excellent condition but the view glass had multiple cracks in it when it arrived. It could have happen in shipping IDK but customer service told me because it was a OPEN BOX purchase I couldn’t receive a discount but I could return it. I choose to keep it, I store it under my desk no one sees it.

Good at shredding, the only negative is it get hot and stop working if I use it to long, it’s ok for me I just let it rest.

I got this for use at home and I have been satisfied. I have used it a couple times almost non-stop for nearly two hours with no over heating issues. Works fine with credit cards. Only down side is the size of the basket, but that is very minor.

This shredder is all it's described to be, at a low price! It overheated once when using it which is why I gave 4 stars, but other than that it's great.

Just a good all around low cost shredder. Handles a good amount of paper at a time, cuts credit cards. It was a good buy.

A lot of people complain about it overheating. The one remedy is to be patient and don’t shove everything down at once. Does a great job if you have just a little bit of patience.

So far, so good. Able to easily shred documents. Relatively small. Shreds quickly, not too noisy. Gives me peace of mind knowing that I can shred key documents.

It's a decent shredder. It does the job. A bit noisy, but hey, worth the price.

Pros; It is fast and easy to use. Easy conditioning with just a little vegetable oil no expensive. Cons: It doesn't do staples well.

We have had this shredder for close to a year and it works well. We go through a lot of shredders, but this one has performed beter than a lot of other ones we have purchased

Very satisfied with my purchase. This shredder gets daily use, and I've had zero problems with it. I especially like the safety feature where it has to be mounted on the included receptacle for it to operate. The description states it is a cross-shredder, but it appears to shred no differently than a standard shredder. Nevertheless, it shreds paper which is why I bought it.

Replaced a smaller one that was always getting jammed, like that it can shred more sheets than the previous one we had and has not jammed at all

It shreds paper very well, and can work consistently for a while. It can shred credit cards, but you have to shred the card on it's own. It's actually a little smaller than I thought, but that actually worked in my favor.

Shredder is simple, but does its job. Have had no issues with it overheating. Shreds pretty much anything i put through it. Dont spend the extra money on more expensive shredders.

Does the Job. No issues yet . You can't beat the Price. Little Noisier than my old one . For the money it is an awesome shredder.
