Not powerful enough , it got stuck quick and overheated many time, the picture is not what it looks like you’ll be disappointed.

The opening to insert paper a bit to small you have to maneuver paper with precision into the opening otherwise to you’ll have continue to adjust before it starts shedding

Should not label it cross cut. More like a straight cut. I know other label the same thing, but I haven't bought a shredder in 10 years. No where does it say cross cut means straight cut and you can still see the name after you shred. All shredders should cut so you can read the name anymore. Otherwise what's the point in shredding. Funny I pour sour milk into my bag of shredding. If you want to look through my mail. Have fun. Motor was fairly quiet and smooth, hence giving this a decent rating.

I really like this paper shredder. It does an excellent job with the crosscut shredding. I have found that it works best with only 1 or 2 sheets of paper at a time although the directions say you can shred more. It just seems to pull the motor down and 1 or 2 sheets at time is OK with me. For the price, I felt it was an excellent buy.

It does ok but slow and will overheat and shutdown if you do any high volume shredding.

I purchased this shredder on sale to finally rid my desk of unwanted sheets that contain personal information. It did what I asked and was able to shred them with ease however several advertised boasts did not prove to be true. It easily took 1-2 sheets at a time. It struggled with 3-4 plain sheets of paper and absolutely refused to tackle >5 sheets. It also did not shred an expired credit card I attempted to dispose of. The shredding mechanism requires regular cleaning to keep the blades clear. At the end of the day it works but you get what you pay for.

Have been using for months without any trouble but we try to not overwork the shredder by running it too long or by shredding too many sheets at one time. So far it is working just fine.
