Anyhow, the shredder struggles with 6 papers at once, but gets the job done. But you can't repeat as often as you'd like. It can shred continuously for about two minutes before it overheats and requires about a five minute break.

I've been cleaning out 20 years of accumulated documents and this shredder has been very reliable so far. Follow the directions of not using too many sheets at once and also how to periodically lubricate the blades.

As with many smaller shredders, you should give the motor a rest periodically so that it doesn’t overheat. I found that out the hard way several years ago using a free shredder smaller than this one.
